Channel 7 already has enough photographers. Your next job is Team Mum. The club should create a paid position.
And I so advise.

I'm not sure he's assisted by the current game plan which doesn't seem to contemplate having an actual forward line.
Contest and defense only accounts for 2/3rds of the ground.

Big Easter egg hunt on right now at Gosch’s for the kids of players and coaching staff. Bmac (Bella McDonald) is absolutely cleaning up.
Childless players are heading over from AAMI now 😅
BMac early father / daughter pick for AFLW. In and under. Knows how to get it.

It also talked about how he was enjoying spending time with his children and travelling. It didn't sound like a fella who'd be in a hurry to move interstate and reverse commute to Casey fields.
PJ got Roos from a similar situation.

wouldn't surprise me if lever doesn't get up, so that's both jefferson and lever out
you can't pick sharp or woewodin either based on today's performance
fritsch should be dropped but there's no one to replace him; we've turned one of the best mid-sized goalkicking i50 players into a completely ineffectual high half forward - what a waste
fingers crossed may is fit
langford the best of the mfc-listed players in the vfl, with fullarton arguably next best, but johnson will get the forward / ruck role over him you'd expect
i would drop howes and sharp as well, but there's no one to replace them - crikey, when yr advocating for the return of bill laurie over the latter yr in trouble as a best xxxiii
OUT: lever, jefferson, woewodin
IN: may, langford, johnsonFritsch should be dropped - into the goal square where he belongs. He's never been a chase and tackle player so playing him high HF is expecting a miracle conversion. Playing out of the square he will kick goals.

correct typo3 hours ago, Ghostwriter said:You think he was faking it? I heard Jacob our Doc asking him a bunch of questions, I heard Shane insist he was fine to go back out, I heard Jacob decide otherwise. I saw Jacob walk him back to the rooms. As he passed by he said, “It’s okay, it’s not an injury, I’m just a bit crook” and he patted his stomach. Maybe the poor bugger reads DL and knows I’ll be on here defending him to the likes of you, PF.
Thought I might join the chat. McAdam is highly skilled, with evasive tricks and a good footy IQ. Marks as if he were taller, like Fritta. He's done the work and I look forward to his first game, where he kicks 3 and dishes off a couple.
Have prescribed vitamins to avoid further injury / illness and a small dose off apotropaic magic to ward of negative DL comments. He'll be fine.

According to Jack Viney, the foundation for Melbourne’s coming resurgence began at the pre-season camp at Bright, which focused heavily on the players’ connection, perspective and communication.
Dees star reveals ‘robust discussions’ after turmoil of 2024
“Melbourne veteran hard nut Jack Viney says the club’s decision to prioritise player connection and team bonding has allowed it to overcome last year’s problems.
“The Demons’ culture was heavily questioned as midfield superstars Clayton Oliver and Christian Petracca weighed up their futures at the club last season.
“But best-and-fairest winner Viney, who ran a personal best 2km time trial over summer, said the Demons had changed their approach with the help of mindset master Ben Crowe”. -

If so, then I suggest you look into the history of posts aimed at Saty, and if not, and I have misread your “(like this one)” remark, then apologies for my misunderstanding.
No. I thought you made a balanced comment, which is why I quoted it. The "this one" was my off topic post. Apologies for any unintended angst.

Nothing personal, but can we please stop this nonsense.
I reckon there's a PHD waiting for someone to research how far into a social media thread before there is an ad hominem, snark or off topic post (like this one). Sorta like Godwin's law. Plenty of examples here to start.

To those who hold sway with the cheer squad, @WalkingCivilWar maybe, the banner for first game should simply say Gus. Everyone will know the courage, commitment, and collegiality it means. Bit worried someone will stretch the alliteration to add concussion, so just don't.

Gee BBB is moving very well. Can,t see TMac. Will be surprised if there is a match sim on this ground. Its quite dry and uneven
Trivia facts (I used to work in Yea): 1. The golf course had a tournament rule 'balls taken by magpies may be replaced without penalty' I don't golf so maybe that's normal; has stuck in my brain for 50 years. 2. In the same week that I lodged a drought relief application, the town was flooded. Canoes in the main street etc.
Thanks for the training reports, folks.

I wonder why they bother naming players in positions.
Over the last few games I have seen different positions on AFL vs MFC website one week and magnets that changed position pre-game pretty much every week.
My conclusion is that the likelihood of the team actually lining up as published is down to zero and falling.

PREGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
in Melbourne Demons
Naah. It's like country footy.
They called for volunteers to play Collingwood and an insufficient number have put their hand up at this point.
