  1. I am staggered - the Board survives!

AFL is a business - they have obligations to all shareholders - paying supporters, fans, and especially sponsors!

The fact that we are fanatical shareholders, means the Board is ever so more accountable! They have F. . . about for long enough and have shown they are incompetent! It's time to submit them to the blow torch! Demons take no prisoners! In the heat of the battle, we want total commitment, we want a Board that leads from the front and sets an example not crafty rules benders!

  2. It is very bad play. Chipping the ball around in the back line, losing the ball and they kick a goal. This may be the lowest score a team had in a game of football.

Yeah, 'twas shocking to be there! just pathetic . . losing the ball and they kick a goal . . I was crying at this stage and . . .(I want to KILL SOMETHING) . . . my season membership!

  3. Indeed. But today it was right across the board - so it might be hard to see the genuine ordinary from the just playing ordinary.

Okay - lets just swap Casey Scorpions with the Dees and see how we go! betcha the Scopions' show some mongrel!

  4. Trengove Grimes Watts Frawley Garland Clark Sylvia Jurrah Gysberts Bail Magner

Morton Blease Jamar Petterd Jones Howe Martin Mckenzie Strauss Tapscott Bartram

Throw in Viney and another quality mid in next years super draft stir in some good

Coaching and we still have the makings of a top 4 side

Well at least I think we do

What r u smokin? - next years super draft stir in some good coaching - can't see this happening - after 4 months + of Neeld!

  5. Neeld is far from the problem

Well WTF did we recruit him! Neeld is part of the problem - he just too inexperienced to know what to do next, so he reverts to the simplest of motivate "FEAR"! and threats.

We need a 'Wayne Bennett' from the NRL plus a ruthless cull of the deadwood! Goodbye 2012 - so much for the promises of the last 5 years!

  6. My optimistic side says, "surely we have some pride and will bounce back and beat the tiges by 30 points".

Only if we learn from what the Cats did today to the Hawks - that's what winning means - we don't have this guts and dogged determination in our team, if ever!

  7. High intensity needed: Neeld

COACH Mark Neeld says his side’s immediate challenge is to play “high, intense footy for longer than a half”.

Hello! WTF has he been up to for the past 6 months!

  8. I say development and impatience.

Neeld will rectify this, but it will take time.

Let's get real! We said this about Bailey! We've showed patience and belief - but the players haven't delivered, nor has the coaching.

I'd be happy to see this change but don't see this happening this season, nor the next we're just not up with the game!

The club doesn't live up to it's image - just ain't HOT

  9. No, it wasn't.

And I wish the club had a Support Alliance Donation Tally on the website to show how much we give beside our membership dues.

Yes many of us give beyond our membership dues. I think this "Supporter Alliance Donation Tally (SAD Tally)" is an excellent idea. Might need to change the title - though seems fitting given the current context!

  10. If fear is Neeld's prime driver, then we're stuffed - it just doesn't work. Need to support our strengths and work on the weaknesses - not one at the expense of the other - we're not going to progress otherwise

  11. To put it bluntly, our team performance needs to improve, and improve a lot, over what we've seen so far. If it doesn't improve, if the past 4 weeks is the best we're gonna do this year, we'll struggle to get anywhere near last year's standard. And I'd find it hard to believe that anybody would be satisfied with that. I fully expect us to improve, but I'm starting to brace myself for the possibility that we might not.

needs to improve, and improve a lot, over what we've seen so far!

Exactly - team is just not showing the passion and fire of Demons we want and expect - there are no excuses - and yes they won't walk over hot coals for Bailey - time for him to move on!
