  1. The few that state their loyalty to the previous regime must truly be stupider than they look or than we mortals can imagine they are. Can I yet again state the definition of insanity "doing the same thing over and again and expecting a different result" ... what do you morons expect??? Would you like to wallow in mediocrity until we disappear??? Neeld has balls and has the guts to do what has been needed at our club for so long and turn the useless, pretentious list over. Yes, he will make mistakes. No, not every trade will be right. But he's changing the culture and putting the weak players on notice - get in line, or f*** off!!!! I for one AGREE!!!! Who gives a [censored] if he's taking risks...by god we need it... I for one welcome those "supporters" who are not renewing their memebership to GET F***ED....we dont need your fickle kind.. only strong life long supporters for the ride in from here thanks...although once we start winning I'm sure you'll be back on board!!!

  2. Supporters Should get the option to order guernseys without sponsors logos.

Unfortunately its all part of the big bucks sponsors pay .. they pay to have their logo on jumpers supporters buy, as many will only buy a jumper every few years .. still see some Tooheys and LG ones floating around at the G

  3. dees best and fairest? Jones

dees best 1st year player? Magner

    goals clark will kick? 62

games jurrah will play? I'll go with 6 pending court case outcome...

dees surprise of the year? Grimes to make it through the season unscathed

    premiers? Hawthorn

first coach to get sacked? Primus

biggest off field controversy? Cloke to GWS

games won by gws? four - Port, GCS, Brisbane and one other surprise..

  4. That stringent play along the boundary is hurting us moving the ball forward too, with the NAB cup out of bounds rule.

Often when we'd be able to progress to a new stoppage and set-up our structure for another push forward, instead the ball is given back to the opposition because of a mickey mouse trial rule.

correct, this rule is definately affecting some teams more than others

  5. I think it would be much better if Demon fans simply didn't turn up in Sydney for GWS home games. After all, the AFL wants us to watch games on the telly.

On top of that every $ we pump into that club will go towards paying you know who's wages.

    I'll be staying away.

But if we don't turn up, who will??

  6. You guys are embarrassing. Explain to me logically why you feel so much hatred for Scully?

I will boo the kid and try to put him off his game to gain an advantage when he eventually comes to play us at the MCG (probably Docklands...), because I feel that is what home fans should do.

It's like appealing to the umpire for a free-kick that probably isn't there: I'm happy for fans to make a noise and put pressure on the ump, but you need to get over it quickly and not be so angry.

Why would Scully show as much loyalty to the club as a supporter would? Fans have a life long investment in the club and have a genuine relationship that will probably last until they die. Scully wasn't a Melbourne fan as a kid and has only spent two years at the club. He's just been offered a huge salary increase and a long term contract that is probably twice as good as any other player of his age would be able to get.

I would find it odd if Scully stayed at Melbourne. It would have been nice, but very unlikely.

Time to grow up and move on. Quickly.

Do the following answer your question?

It's not the fact that he went - I can understand that much money will lure almost any player - it's the fact that he lied about it and even as recently as yesterday claimed he had not made up his mind, yet today he appears in promotional videos for GWS....yeah right

I'm not going to dwell on it and certainly will probably all but forget about him until we are scheduled to play GWS...but then I plan on letting him know exactly why he made the worst decision of his life!

  7. I'm probably still just fuming from today's events, but I'd love to show $cully what I think of all this.. I reckon we try and get as many dees supporters as possible to the away game against GWS next year - enough to outnumber the home crowd and really give it to him. Shouldn't be too hard, considering they'll have about 500 in the crowd and none of them will know the rules!!

  8. Great to see Maximum Gawn in the side, he is going to be unstoppable in years to come. Excited to see Howe as well. And thank god we have our top 2 draft picks back this week. I think a lot of Bombers supporters have pencilled this one in and I reckon we might catch them off guard a bit, or here's hoping!!

  9. I must admit that I used to be a big Jones basher but I truly admire the way he goes about his footy these days. You can see the passion and effort that he puts in week after week and he can always be relied upon to perform to the best of his abilities and give his all. Congratulations Jonesy on 100 games and I look forward to many more.

  10. I have never had a good feeling about a game against North in the past. We always seem to either fall just short or not turn up to play. But I can't help but think all the happenings this week may be a blessing in disguise and the boys will really come ready to play. Fingers crossed I am right..

  11. The armband is a great idea. I will make sure I have one. Also, the more people with signs and banners protesting this the better. I am thinking of getting a big sheet to make a banner with, anyone else keen to assist? Lol

  12. Bailey has to go. We need some mongrel. We need someone that will instil some belief in the players with a positive game plan. We need a tough coach who will not take sh*t from any player. Sorry Bailey, your time is up.

  13. I kind of agree with Bennell for the the sub, but I think as someone mentioned earlier, that his endurance is very good and we would probably want him on for the whole match. Remember how good Petterd was as the sub against the Swans - his form has reportedly been good in the VFL, so he'd be my pick - Petterd in for Dunn, as sub.
