I wasn't name calling. I was saying that people can post without being hurtful. The "you" was meant to mean everyone on this forum, not anyone personally. Also, calling someone the "morality police" is name calling. The morality police actually kill women for expressing opinions. Look it up. Quite hurtful to be called that tbh. Not interested in keeping this going, my initial reply was to stick up for WCW who I think is a kind hearted person who contributes to this group and should not have to feel she has to leave because of the poor treatment of other.Â
Actually you did name call, albeit censored. It was aimed indirectly at the "other", and your position on the matter is diminished by doing so
Your enthusiasm to defend WCW has led you to confuse me with someone else. I never called you the "morality police".
Linking me requesting that you refrain from name calling with women being killed is both offensive and unnecessarily inflamitory.
It's time for all of us to leave the matter up to the mods for them to deal with. I would suggest you contact them if you want to stick up for WCW

Getting back on topic...Â
I think we have no option but to either keep Clarry or trade him for what we'd probably consider a packet of chips.
While we don't know much of the details, I think it will depend whether the FD have simply had enough and want him out at all costs (relatively) or if they think he is capable of turning it around to recapture some fitness and form. I can't see how another club would take him unless it's at a rock bottom price, which will likely include us paying a chunk of his contract

Dees bid on Kako @ pick 6
6 = 1751 points
Bombers get a 20% discount so need 1400 points.
Bombers trade 9 for GWS for 16 and 17.
16 = 1067 points
Leaving them 333 points short. From here, they can trade 17 down again for further points to match. Or the pick slides back by that amount. In this case, 333 point deficit pushes pick 17 out to 28.
So essentially turn 9 into Kako and pick 28 (or an earlier pick if split with another club wanting pick 17) if they deal with GWS.
Of course other bids for academy players like Lombard and Marshall will affect this.
Bombers will then weigh up their ideal outcome.
Kako + 28 - by trading down (with GWS specifically)
or
Pick 6 + Kako - by using their future 1st plus extra draft picks to get ahead of a Kako bid. (Not sure they have enough here to entice a club to do this).
The may even hope to trade in an earlier 1st round pick and hope Kako slides past 9 to give them say 6, 9 and Kako. Highly unlikely I would think.
OrÂ
Trade out of pick 9 downwards and into the future. Example might be dees offer Future 1st plus picks 28, 47, 53 to give them points to match a Kako bid.Â
Kako + dees f1
Have you been working with #ETtradewhisperer ?

Imagine we bid on Kako at #5, and they still hold 9. Before they match the bid they live trade pick 9 to us for a F1 and 28.Â
Can they live trade to avoid burning 9 after the bid has been made by us or saints?
Is this rule different from last year?
I'm not up to speed with this. TIA

What are they smoking at Alberton, 1st round pick this year AND next year. Just not gling to happen, lol.
You gave up 6 for Cerra and he's proved mediocre at best.Â
Your 1st this year will end up being 13 or 14, next year might be higher if Tassie take a slice.
AA last two years, Houston is easily worth 2024 #14 and 2025 #17
Man, you need to stop smoking the bucket bong and come back down to earth!

Pretty pathetic from Clayton. Very childish, if that is him. At least Christian kept quiet.
The MFC has bent over backwards for this [censored].
He is a 27yo that needs 24/7 baby sitting. One day he might turn into a grown up.
Â
Â
His ex gf must be a saint. She held him together for his MFC career until last year.Â
Part of the new Geelong contract should stipulate a clause that he must have another gf mothering him

But they're also helped by the fact that houses cost less in Geelong/surf coast so the players are ok will bring paid slightly less. Let alone the under the table deals...
Yeah, the crappy areas of Geelong.
Better areas of Geelong and the nicer surf coast towns are not cheap. They'd get little change out of $1.5mill for better houses

The horizontal hoops wont be flattering for his figure, though the cats have a history of loving gingers.
We'll be disappointed at the trade we get. Prob pay a significant amount of his contract as penalty for being so stupid for the $1mill+ deal we did with him. And then at best get a future 1st from Geelong (2005 #16), could even be less.

The Draft Pick Upgrade Thread
in Melbourne Demons
Thankfully Dododododo isn't there anymore.
He'd want our F1, F2, Windsor and JVR for #9
