  1. I think the guy is out by quite a few but there has been some banter on there about the tipping of late. This may throw the cat right amoungst the piggys.
  2. What will be the go with the footy tipping do you think Ron?
  3. No argument H. 97 was as traumatic as 98 was euphoric. Times will change. I see the 08 list as much better than the 97 list except the passion. I wanted Sheedy. We goy Bailey. We now have what we have. Lets hope it gets better. Go Dees.
  4. These guys have no passion. My son was down the park tonight pretending he was Brock McLean. I really feel the need to apoligise to him creating him as a Demon fan. MFC is a passion of mine, but something is not right on the ground. The MFC has lost direction as a business and is the AFL'S basket case but why the players don't care I believe is another matter. What I don't know.
  5. The footy gives me a break from reallity. Now it gives me massive heartache. Why should I be stessing if the players aren't.
  6. You maybe thinking of 81 with that one game win at the WO. I have lived through the late 60's and the early 70's. Saw RDB come and go. Loved the Northey era. Saw Daniher do way past his use by date. What we have here is madness. Two questions: Where the hell is Kevin Sheedy Whers is Steve bloody Harris now we don't have Sheedy. "shakes his head"
  7. He is a superstar. You can build a team around these sorts of players. Midfielders are great but strong CHF's win premierships.
  8. Northey's teams won close games and were never intimidated. Tjey \were a great team to support.
  9. You may need to find a Netball site BD
  10. I assume that is Bolton the little bald headed germ ex Geelong. Can't recall it JC. He whacked Alan Johson at the SCG one day, that may have been the square up. I ran into Grinter at the tennis this year. We spoke about the 87 prelim saying he really got Mew that day. We need some Grinter spirit out there at the moment. He was a beauty.
  11. I am sure there are plenty. Biffen, Ditterich, Powell. My favouite was Ted Fidge blindsiding Pants Millane at Waverley. Couldn't understand why he was picked until Millane went down that day. Or Ditterich evening up with Russell Crow (Fitzroy) after he bowled over Paul Callery.
  12. Poor decision making and disposal as I read it. Love his run and attack on the ball. Long bow to comapre him to Judd
  13. I was there before 11.30 and was told the show bags were finished. There was not 500 kids there at that time. I wish I had have known this number then. Also thought Bev was awful. Not prepared. Seems to know the players but too many embarassing pauses. ER.
