I reckon we need a 2-3 year big forward that can take some of the heat whilst Watts, Gawn, Cook, etc develop. You dont want those guys copping the best defender like they current do. Look at the success of Darling, as teams have to match up Kennedy, Lynch, Natanui/Cox and then Le Cras first. I wouldnt pay much for him, but reckon Chad Cornes could not only play that role, but also give the guys a lesson in how to prepare. Also good to bring in some more experienced leadership having lost junior and bruce in the one year. He is still ripped, wants to play and Port are going to delist him. I would then try and snag someone from Gold Coast next year as they all come out of contract... If Scully goes we will have plenty of salary cap up our sleeve. Tom Lynch would be handy...

If you were listening to Triple M's Hot Breakfast this morning you would have heard that Miss Universe is looking for a date to the brownlow. Tom Scully was thrown in as a potential, yet apparently he has declined because he wasnt invited by the AFL and his team mates gave him so much sh*t for going without an AFL ticket that he has declined. Seriously blokes. This is a team sport. You are all just jealous that Tom could pull a 19 year old Miss Universe. You should all be encouraging him to go, she might just have a few mates that the rest of you could meet as they become the next Judd & Twigley. I say get Scully to the Brownlow and on the arm of the hottest girl at the entire event!!!!

Out: Morton and Bennell In: Trengrove and Moloney We need Jurrah as a tall, right now dont need both wonnas and bennell in the forward line when we dont have the players to create contests. Morton doesnt have a position with Treners and Moloney coming in. He should head to Casey and work on finding him the right position then spend the off season trying to bulk up again and find a role in the team. PJ needs to stay. Jamar will need a chop out and he is one player that can create a contest in the forward line. Greeny seemed like he was triple teamed the whole game last week as we didnt have other dangerous talls creating space. PJ in the goal square could challenge the backline of the Tigers. I think that Scully is great but not far off a rest, but maybe he can get through the rest of the year?

I think Morton will go to Casey. If he goes to Goodes then lock him in for the 3 Brownlow votes now. Jack Watts would have more chance than Morton of keeping him quiet, or maybe Wonna?

I dont understand how people could even mention the words trade and jamar in the same sentence? He is close to All Australian and I would back him for our B&F! His work down to moloney and others has been brilliant. Spencer is awkward,PJ was horrible on Saturday. We should keep him at Casey as a backup just in case Jamar goes down and give Martin a chance to play the flexible ruckman/forward/back for when Jamar needs a rest.

At 193cm and the longest arms in the world maybe we just get jarrah to jump over sandilands?

I dont see Rivers in our best back 6 in 12 months. we have just resigned him so I am thinking maybe we try him up forward given that we dont have muhc working at the moment. No matter what Miller does at Casey he is not up to it. He should never play again. Newton is never going to make it, Jack is a couple of years away, fitzpatrick even further. We have a couple of small forwards so why not try him for a month? Play deep, put defensive pressure on and float around a pocket for when maloney or Jones get a fast break and pump it long. We only need him to kick 2 goals a game and lay a bunch of tackles... Food for thought. Bailey doenst seem to try anything new down there? I would get Brucey deep as well as Green.

With our backline coming together nicely I wonder whether Rivers could play forward? I like him as a player, great hands, but seems to be a little slow to be the damaging rebounding player that we need off the flank? Although he is great loose in defense or 3rd man up could he be a target in the forward line or even a lead a centre half forward?

Have to keep playing Watts. He needs to learn the speed of the game and what how others do it whilst he bulks up. Will be dangerous in a couple of years time. He should be given a defensive role to get dangerous on someone like maxwell who will try and zone off or harry obrien as he looks to run down the ground. if we can turn the ball over through the pressure of bennell, jetta, etc he might be able to float back and sneak a couple of goals.
