I posted yesterday on our Facebook group that maybe (I’m hoping)this could be Christian shaking the MFC tree and seeing if any rotten apples fall out. If this young man has done this to clear the club of people that shouldn’t be there we will all be forever grateful. After listening to Kate this morning I see why Christian and his family are upset, she hasn’t even spoken to him, he almost died It didn’t surprise me she doesn’t want an external review, maybe lots to hide but ttwt is what is needed sooner rather than later

Could it be that Christian is shaking the MFC tree hoping some rotten apples fall out? He certainly has put a lot of people under the spotlight with what is going on atm.

I was listening to Caro on 3AW and she said that she’d been told by someone that Christian thought it might be better for his brand of he was at a bigger club, Leigh Matthews said if that was the case it puts things in a whole different light. God I hope that isn’t true

Ahh good old Yarraville Seddon, that’s where Josh Giddy played his footy as a ruckman. Obviously decided on basketball

McLardy on ABC (missed the start) McLardy says that Neeld and Craig have strong personalities. They're not going to be 'dominated' by Schwab. Schwab works with them to get our on-field performances right. Does this mean Schwab is having input into the football department. That's how I'm reading it but I may be wrong?

I didn't hear the interview with Don McLardy on ABC,I was reading the media interviews thread and couldn't belive my eyes.I am wondering if Cameron Schwab is not involved with the football department why does he work with Neeld and Craig on getting the teams on field performance right?

I also heard OX on SEN this morning he still maintains that he is 98% sure Scully has signed something with GWS,the only reason he is not 100% sure is because he hasn't seen the signed contract,he also said that he has 4 very reliable sources (not 1,but 4) saying Tom is gone.He also said that his source had told Kevin Bartlet the same thing to which Kevin just replied Umm yes.I am much more likely to believe a champion and very loyal long term player of the MFC rather than a kid that is holding the footy club to ransom,if he was staying he would have signed by now like players from other clubs have.I didn't get any comfort from his press conference,he said nothing to change my mind that he will be gone, much like the Dale Thomas press conference.I think they will be playing together at GWS next year.Oh,and to call OX a liar because he had a gambling adduction is a joke.Wake up and smell the GWS rose,TOM is gone and a lot of people in the media and footy world know it

Hi All Not sure if anyone else heard this but I was litening to Dean Bailey being interviewed on SEN today, the boys asked him about the Scully and JT comment that Tom would be a long term player for the DEES and his reply was he didn't think he would,he knew he would be.This has given me a little bit of hope that he may say as to be completely honest I thought he was gone.

In regards to Liam Jarrah, the story I heard was that Collingwood tried to hide him in the top end of Australia so they could pick him up for not much.Maybe this is why the recruiting department thought he was so good. Not as big a risk if you know Collingwood wanted him.

If they all worked as hard as the Jack's we have maybe last night would never have happened.I love jack Grimes but our whole back line is under far to much pressure thanks to Dean Bailey outdated game plan and that caused a lot mistakes and turnovers from the whole backline.I am over blaming the players I believe the blame lays sqaurely with the coach.Enough is enough

Oop,sorry Forgot to mention Jack Trengove, you are right. This Jack will be a star which he didn't have to wait long for.Isn't it ironic that we selected Tom Scully over any other interstate kids because they we worried they might want to return home.I have a very sick feeling that Scully will go to GWS which is why he isn't playing and we might lose him anyway.

I have to say my red and blue is broken today, after watching the debacle that was last nights game I have to say I thought Jack Watts was fantastic last night. This kid never stopped trying, most of the other players could learn from watching the kids attitude.I surprised myself by thinking this as I haven't been Jacks biggest fan, always hopeful but I found myself cheering him on last night as he was one of the few that kept trying, running, tackling, marking etc.I thought he showed some great courage,in the end all we as supporters want is for every player to have a red hot crack and never give up no matter how hopeless it seems and I think Jack did that last night. There were a few other players that tried as well,Jamar,Bartram, garland and Jones all had some good spots in the game and all tried very hard but with little support. On Bailey, there has been far to many excuses made for this man and his time must surely be up,he hasn't had a game plan since he walked in the door,I am sick of hearing about the cattle he didn't have in his first 2 seasons, well now he has them and we are no better. He got rid of Junior, worst mistake made by the footy club what an asset he would be now.I also question the recruiters at the club,I think Jack will be OK but we could have had Jack Darling in the forward line last night instead of waiting for a player to be ready in 2 or 3 years.I have been of the opinion that there are a few people at the club that are hopeing that this rebuild takes forever (it could going on the players we have selected in drafts when there were players that could perform at AFL level straight away)so as their jobs will be safe while player develop.Ok I have ranted for long enough, that felt good.Shoot me down if you like but these are my views at the moment. If someone who knows Jack Watts is reading this thread please let him know that he should hold his head up after last night,I saw some great improvement keep it up mate.Bailey must go ASAP

Hi All I'm not sure if anyone else heard this but I was listening to Kevin Bartlett and he was talking footy with one of the journo's he has on his program. He said that Cam Bruce was not happy with the Best and Fairest count. If he was top 5 he would get some sort of bonus and he was unhappy about the votes for one of the rounds,he thought he should have got 3 votes but didn't get any therefore missed out on his bonus, apparently he was very angry and the journo said that is what he had heard CB was like. That's what I heard from the journo so take it as you like but if he is like that, the Dees are better of without him.I was gutted when I heard he was leaving and then heard this and thought the young kids don't need leaders like that
