  1. I heard the tape melted and overheated from being played for too long

To repeat my original post, does anyone want to make this full-scale? I was thinking something like this. (BigFooty does have a lot of members but we only need 10-12 to kick it off, and I'm not sure how many teams they have.) I reckon this would be really good, although considering there are 600+ players in the draft, we'd need very active members to kick it off before the season starts. Anyone? I think it would be fun

Boys? I hope you're not guaranteeing certain players to reach your next selection

I'm down for this. It makes me think, a fantasy competition would be good on here. SuperCoach or Dream Team scoring, but a full draft so that no player can be selected twice. And no starting price for players - either have no money involved, or you pay the players whatever you want out of a certain amount, like in real life. (Considering the off-season activity, it'd have to start soon)
  6. I was just about to say that. November 29, 2010: We're really speeding along now. We're currently sitting at 16,355 members, ahead of (roughly) the same stage last year, where the tally was 15,609. These figures are from December 2, 2009, so they aren't spot on, but we're about 800 ahead, as we were on my last update. 20k by 2011's a good chance. We were on about 18,000 at the start of this year from memory, so if we all start signing up (I'm pretty sure I'm not alone in this), it's not out of the question. Wherever. I was a junior member this year so my 17 game membership got me into the MCC (my dad's a member, so we went to both the Collingwood matches and the second Hawthorn one), but I normally sat where the cheer squad is located, which, at an away game, is generally the Ponsford Stand.
  7. Jack Trengove also got 15.4 in his beep test, while Scully was 15.8.

  9. There's the email I got sent, so yeah, there's two draws.
  10. Thanks for updating guys, they hadn't updated it for at least a week, so I forgot about it. November 25, 2010: As previously posted, we've cracked 15k. Currently our tally is at 15,123, 811 more than this stage last year, where we were at 14,312. It's roughly a 6% increase. Note to everyone, sign up by November 26 (wait, that's tomorrow) and you get a free 2011 MFC calendar and you go into the draw to win either two tickets to our 2011 best and fairest or two changeroom passes to any Dees game at the MCG. I keep forgetting to remind my mum.

  12. Well, it was going to happen eventually. But now my signature makes sense (officially )
  13. His second efforts are really, really good. He's definitely no big, lumbering forward.

    Lucas Cook

Talking about recruits from small towns, my grandma's probably disappointed we didn't pick Jed Lamb, seeing as they're both from Yarram... We'll see Cook in 2012. The rest of the draftees should get games in 2011, especially Howe.
  15. DRAFTEES: 11 - Lucas Cook 25 - Jeremy Howe 32 - Troy Davis 41 - Tom McDonald CHANGES: 17 - James Strauss 21 - Sam Blease
  16. McKenzie was left out. I'd make Krakouer the sub and put him in the back pocket.
  17. Another tall forward. http://www.afl.com.au/News/NEWSARTICLE/tabid/208/Default.aspx?newsId=104502
  18. Howe can take a good grab. HF: Watts Cook Dunn F: Petterd Howe Jurrah I'm liking that.
  19. Another full-forward, from Tassie. Like the way BP thinks.
