  1. I know I posted before on this, but as I said before on this, Buckley's not working anywhere near hard enough when he doesn't have the ball - and in particular, when our opposition has the footy.
  2. It'd make a serious dent in the player's wage for that week
  3. I wouldn't be surprised if Dees supporters are more likely to read The Age.
  4. Mid-season retirements are rare, but perhaps someone'll be told the show's over after this 'round 6 line in the sand' thing DB and CC have going. *shrug As I said, his courage to take on the game has been good. That's not why I think he should - make that has - been dropped. I agree that he's shown something, and unlike many on here, I'm not worred about his missed targets atm. What has been disappointing is his work-rate defensively. I watched him pretty closely in 2 of the 4 games I've seen the Dees play - vs North at Casey Fields and vs the WB - and his chasing and workrate when we don't have the ball has been very ordinary. PS. If Davey misses, who comes in? Looking at the balance, not Frawley.
  5. Exactly. Imagine the outcry if he said 'we can't beat Cats'. What pressure? Or did I fail to read the quote where DB asserts that 'the Dees will win, and win well'?
  6. I think Morton and Wonaemirri will play. For balance, I guess one of Frawley and Garland will play, and I'd prefer the former. Moloney'll be keen to get a gig against his old side. I liked Buckley's courage to run - regardless of the missed targets - but his defensive running was very poor, and for that reason - and not anything turnover-related - I wouldn't mind seeing him dropped. That'd give CJ an opportunity. I saw two matches. I can't remember much of 'Aussie', but I was pretty unimpressed by Weetra's form. Why's that?
  7. Haha. It's not hard to imagine that offers of work, land etc. may have been excluded from the TPP.
  8. Morton was playing on the wing whenever I saw him last weekend. That's a little different to playing on a KPP. That said, I don't think Frawley's being 'protected' because he's skinny.

  10. The members list shows there are 1860 users signed up. You can work this out by multiplying the number of users per page (by default, 20) by the number of pages (currently 93). Of those, 767 have at least one post. You can figure this out by using the search function within the members page, by toggling more options, and choosing to limit the listing to those with a 'post count' of 'more than' '0'. Hope that's what you were after. You can also use this to provide various other demographic information, like the number of users who have joined in the last month (70), or the number of users who have marked their gender as female (20).
  11. I've seen him dive for smothers, chase, and put in second efforts. It looks like he's trying to embody the values, at least on the field.
  12. Interesting 'rumour', but we'll probably never know whether there's any credence to it. As someone said, it's easy to create a 'rumour' to fit facts. That said, it could be true. *shrug Is it just me, or does the second line contradict with the first? Haha, indeed.
  13. That's my thought. That said, I'd be playing him every game this year (as long as his form/body holds up okay).
  14. ...and don't forget technique.
  15. He played for Sandringham on the weekend. Someone posted that they 'had word' that he was two weeks away.
  16. I think that we've failed to utilise him too often in the past. Often he'd make good position through the centre, and doesn't have bad disposal.
  17. Whenever you wear a suit. I've never worn a MFC scarf outside of a game, and if I wanted to this year somethime this year, I'd have plenty in the cupboard to choose from! Happens to the best of us
  18. What about Sylvia? Wait, you don't need to answer, you've already done so:
  19. Exactly. Most on here severly over-rated us coming into 2007, regardless of our horror injury run. Following the Carlton match, I believe Lyon said that St. Kilda were still coming to terms with the game plan.
  20. I've not heard that. I did hear that Knights got the gig over hardwich because he believed Essendon didn't need to rebuild. In this case, I agree.
