The Melbourne AFL Women's team is coming to Sydney to play GWS this Friday night.  A win over GWS will keep us in contention for the Grand Final.

The women are winning by playing contested football, moving the ball quickly, creating space to attack the goals and tackling ferociously.  Talk about a Demon tackler - Daisy Pearce is the top tackler in the AFLW.   And we have a special opportunity to meet and hear from our Captain, Daisy in Sydney this Thursday 2nd March 2017 - 6.30 to 8.30 pm.

There is absolutely no way we would willingly trade Gawn out. No way.

Agreed that Gawn is not for trade after 7 years of development now showing such a good return. Howe is the obvious trade candidate if any. Last two years have shown MFC not willing to trade if the offer is not good enough.

Will be interesting to see who we do see as filling a gap in our current list but key position seems most likely. Slightly worried by memories of Molan!

Can I suggest you up the Lifetime Membership to a nice round $100, and then all previously subscribed members with Lifetime memberships could treat the $40 difference as a donation. Just a thought. When you think about it, $40 is really just a few cups of coffee, so shouldn't hurt too many.

Having kissed the missus' relos and handed out the cigar,I will be looking for a pub and a fellow demon fan on/near Glebe pt Rd.

The Camelia Grove Hotel is actually quite close to you as Alexandria is a mere hop, skip and a jump from Glebe Pt Road. Otherwise The Forrest Lodge could have the footy on but there are no guarantees tonight that you won't be watching the rugby league test at most Sydney pubs! See how you go but you will be most welcome at the Cammy.

The NSW Demons watch the games on the Big Screen at the Alexandria Hotel, 35 Henderson Rd, Cnr Garden St, Alexandria. Numbers vary but you will always find AFL supporters at the Alexandria. The venue offers multiple plasma screens and is an AFL hotel, run by an ex Sydney player Harry McAsey, so you can always see the game on one of the big screens.
