Trengove - magnificent. Grimes - great. Sylvia - Captain. Has some C-Bomb in him. Would have respect from the playing group. The hard nut we need to lead the team.
-
Great sentiment in this post. I feel the same way. Well done Max, you gave us something we needed, and you're going to be a big part of our future.

"Pot... This is kettle-black, come in Pot!" See your input to the medical staff thread where it was their fault for suspensions and concussions.
-
No adult here, just a kid who can't understand how, from the 12 players you've listed, the medical staff could have prevented the following: 2 * suspensions leaves 10 medical mistakes 1 * concussion leaves 9 medical mistakes 1 ankle sprain leaves 8 medical mistakes 2 * PCL injuries leaves 6 medical mistakes 1 * ACL injury leaves 5 medical mistakes 1 * kidney laceration leaves 4 medical mistakes - at best. Of the remaining 4 (withstanding Andrew Daff running onto the field and shepherding our players at the stoppages) - Scully has been very carefully and conservatively treated, and as such has avoided a more serious condition - see the multiple threads and posts on that scenario. Grimes reportedly had no pain leading up to his navicular fracture (pain is the only warning you get for a fracture of this type). Rivers is listed by you - is he actually injured? It's actually difficult to defend any of the situations you blame on the medical staff. So you make a ridiculous post, where you've struggled to overcome even the most basic logic, while trying to present yourself as an expert, and while arguing with a physiotherapist about it. It's amazing your brain generates enough power to keep your fingers moving over the keyboard. "Any adults here?" - Arrogant [censored]! The only way I could fathom your ranting in this thread is that you were stinking drunk when you posted.
-
Yeh, I can't work out how the club allows it. It's always going to be trouble.
-
Easily the most ridiculous thread I have seen since I've been on the site.
-
That's a good point. Also, I thought we picked Morton to be a key position forward (eventually). Anyone know why that hasn't been tried yet? Didn't bulk up enough?
-
Having lost Grimes - a running back - we need Frawley to continue to increase his running game. That considered, I can't see Warnock being dropped. We'll need Warnock to manage a big forward so that Frawley is free to run. I think..
-
An especially valid point when considering that Bail (out) and Trengove (out) are in our top 5 tacklers this year. We'll need someone to fill that void. Nice if McKenzie is ready...
-
Spot on.

Great post. We should appeal again - irrespective of the 'avenues'. 3 weeks is a disgrace. To offer a player 2 weeks if they 'submit' early to the gestapo and 3 if they don't is a pathetic pantomime of the real judiciary system. The MRP see, at most, 5 or 6 cases per week. It's not like they're saving tax-payers dollars by avoiding the court costs. This is a blatant 'I'm important and you're not' event. Effing furious.
-
Effing C-Bombs. I am furious. I hope they all get thrush.
-
Good luck Jack - on in 1 minute's time.

Post # 104 in this very thread. That we've broken the rule is not debatable. That the rule is sensible is. I'm glad we're contesting, and would be happy with a one week suspension. It would be nice though, if the other 4 million such tackles over the year attracted the same attention.

The quote is: See my signature. Ten two-letter words. Do it justice by not misquoting/mispelling it. Edit - had to correct my mispelling of 'mispelling'. Damn it!
-
Damn it. Thought your link was going to be a positive spin on Watts. Instead it was the haughty, 'who do you think you are?' responses of a coach who has no answers. "The season's played over 22 rounds." Ummm no it's now over 24 rounds.... I think that statement's indicative of where his game plan is: in the past.

Here here.

Agreed until I got to the part I've emboldened. You can't be serious?!
-
It was a nice try, but there's less than 100 members of that facebook petition (half of whom probably aren't even paid up MFC members) compared to ~ 35,000 members of the MFC. That's ~ 0.003% of the supporter base. Hardly damning evidence of the will of the entire supporter group. Agree with the premise, but it's barely going to raise an eyebrow at the club. I think the backlash on the MFC supporter sites will catch more attention.

Would drop Morton way before I'd drop Gysberts. Gys had a typical young bloke's night on Thursday - needs game time. On that note, let's put Lucas Cook in the team. Enough "he'll be right in 3 years bulltish". If we're going to sell the "get games into them" story, let's get games into him. We desperately need a marking forward. Even if he starts off dropping those marks!
-
Fluffing around with a couple of player changes is 'sitting on your hands'. If you want to extract the digit - change the game plan. If the coach isn't happy with that - change the coach. You're barking up the wrong tree. I'm glad you're hurting though - I am too.
-
Let's try to be a bit realistic, I know it's hard, but we have to. Thursday night saw the majority of our players try their guts out with a dead game plan. Changing the players will achieve little in the face of that.

Shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic. Agree though, with Petterd and Bate in, Dunn and Bennell out.
