  1. After a best on ground performance with 5 goals, surely the juice would get his spot back for melbourne. Especially when we only managed 10 goals on sunday. Somehow i think he will miss out, purely because he is the juice.

Pathetic post. Why cause he is the 'Juice' its the Juice 'attitude' or should i say lack of good attitude and discipline

  2. Awesome? ;)

He did get really tired in the last, which is understandable given he hasn't played a full game at any sort of really intense environment in about 8 months. Needs plenty more games to get the fitness into him. Playing on the wing as well, he got tired because he was running from one contest to the next.

Great user of the ball, oozes class and very very intelligent. Probably won't play permanent CHF (too good to rot in the square) until he puts on another 5-6kgs.

Intelligent???? Thats the best laugh ive had for the year thanks for that one!

  3. No.

And your last line sums him up.

I think given the MFC forward problems he will be given further opportunities if his performance warrants it.

gove credit today, did well. he still shits himself before goal u can see it in his face. Some terrible misses clearly not an AFL player. Attitude still concerns me. Anyone hear them paying him out on the radio today? They really dislike him hey

  4. Then take offense, that's your choice.

If anybody posts about a players serious injury without knowing it to be true then they will be banned if it is subsequently proven to be wrong. That's the responsibility of posting.

Just for the record we have banned posters for a year when they have done similar things. Think yourself lucky.

Jurrah had operation on abcess on leg last week, will be good for next week

  5. So how does Jurrah want it more???? I have watch Jurrah play two games and he is far from demonstrative and I have not noticed any MFC tattoo's ffs.

Jurrah is new, we have invested too much time on Newton, i know him and know plenty of people who knwo him and make the same comment. As for the tattoo comment, thats bright. Newton is useless

  6. Straightens us up, can take a mark and gives it a crack but his kicking is to bad. I'd expect him to stay on the list for a few years but ultimatly wouldn't make it to 100 games.

Thousands would be dispaointed if he was kept on the list OR got a game next week. He was pathetic. My 10 year old son can kick better. Get rid of him, the attitude is appalling, get someone who's heart is in it. Not this poor excuse for a football player

  7. all too harsh on him. Fact is he should've kicked those goals. He didn't, but at least he was having shots on goal... He slots those, 2 goals from a forward in a low scoring game, with shocking conditions for forwards, and he's done well...

I thought his work ethic was reasonable, he kept chasing all day, laid 4 tackles...

Get him to work on his kicking, but surely this is something we can back our coaches to help him fix?

he was pathetic and as the above mentions stills reeks of arrogance and bad attitude, drop him!

  8. He did Have one True Highlight. That "Freak" Goal he kicked during the 2000 Prelim Final. The look on his Face is priceless. For all Grgic's faults he has achieved that moment.

I would love to kick a goal in september during a final

But yeah Good swap for Moloney.

yes is that is not a family response i dont know what is. He needs to bring the goods, forget his age forget the past he is crap

  9. I don't know Juice either, & i am not disputing what you have said about his percieved attitude around the Club. All i do know is when he missed that sitter up the punt road end he looked might upset at himself on the TV.

So maybe he is starting to appreciate what he is doing & how lucky he is. Time will tell.

    lets hope so

  10. Juice is definatley a player on the way up.. will he be an A Grader?? not sure.. but if he bulks up a bit and gets the run in his legs i wont hurt.. he certainly has the natural ability..

and if he does get his confidence up and fitness at the right level he is exciting enough to go and watch play.. everyone loves a high flyer..

look at jolly, he left before his prime and is now dominating and it is costing us. lets hope the M.F.C do put some time into him.

And big guys always take longer. Atleast when he gets the ball he doesnt look lost with it.. or unsure.. we just have to increase the workrate.

Don't know Juice personally but know enough people around the club who do and many comment at his lack of determination and lack of maturity. He is spoilt and and does not take his role at the club seriously. It really grates me as we have some realy talent ready to step up and they put him in. Bugger the age factor he has had his chance to prove something but has pulled out the goods and is not consistent enough for me.

Lets hope robbo is back soon

  11. Although his skills as a forward aren't spectacular i think the weekend showed how important it is to have someone like Newton the forward structure. If nothing else he provides a target that can bring the ball to ground.

While we're on Newton, we all know his kicking is atrocious but i noticed a lot of our players, particularly Miller, were playing on even though they had a shot for goal from as close as 25-30 metres out. I know confidence must be a bit low (hopefully a little higher now!) but our players must back themselves from that distance.

the only confidence he has is in his ego. That chip on his shoulder is holding him back its a shame. A bit of hard work and he could be good. He is still lazy and has a poor attitude. I would be more than disapointed to see him in the line up this weekend,. There are more players who have earned their spots.

Get rid of the joke juice and bring in the Jurrah!

  12. "That is why people LOATHE him!"

On a site for supporters of the MFC? Extraordinary!!!!

You say that on Sunday he didn't want it enough?Watch the bloody replay and then you should apologise!

He's a kid and deserves a chance. A friend of mine who also knocks Newton told us all that Neitz was useless/didn't go in etc when he was about the same age.

And did he really make his debut in R3 of 2007? I thought his first game was Neale Daniher's last, at Docklands

THAT IS BECASUE WE ALL WANTED HIM DROPPED WHEN HIS CONTRACT WAS RENEWED HE WAS A WASTE

  13. Haydo is correct.

If Juice hgets to the 50-100 game portion of his career and he hasnt improved, then it will be open season.

As of now, he is 21 and has played less than 20 games.

I think if he works hard at training and listens to coaches, then we will be in for a treat.

He has had ample opporunity to shine but he doesnt listen that is the problem it all comes back to his lack of maturity and the chip he wears on his shoulder. Hi is lazy ask anyone around the club

  14. I was at Casey on Saturday night. He is not even close to being ready and would be very suprised if he played.

really? Wy not ready you think? I reckon throw him in and see what he can do. You can see the magic within him i have a feeling he is going to produce something beyond brillant when he steps up, Got to be better than Newton and a few others

  15. he is useless one hit wonder who needs to grow up and drop the attitude and chip on his shoulder

and i dont understand why we all talkign about him whilst there are some great players in melbourne who have thier hearts in the club. I give him till the end of the year his contract should never been reinstated 2 years ago we all know that. AND we all know the attitude thing is not a myth im sorry but you can see on the ground he is lazy and his heart is not in it. I have been following the dees for 30 years now and know the in's and out's with reference to people within the club and its a known fact about his poor attitude

  16. WTF?

Get over Juice this is surely his family writing this crap !

And RR: If the 1st qtr is a draw then surely the third is too, and the last saw some cheapies from the Tigers when the game was done.

So does that mean the breakdown of the qtrs are: Demons 1 - 0 Tigers with 3 'no decisions'? (to steal a baseball term)

I love semantical arguments as much as the next bloke but we won the first qtr.

You can only play the rabble your up against...

he is useless one hit wonder who needs to grow up and drop the attitude and chip on his shoulder
