well you can take his licence and he cant drive, but he can still go to the pub and get [censored] and turn up to training half cut, the bloke is a loose cannon and its only up to himself to pull his head in if you ask me. he has been given far too many chances anyways, evryone deserves a second chance, but this guy surely has mischief following him. im just glad he isnt a demon.

but seriously, are geelong really going to punish him severely? i mean the guy played like a champion on g/f day,(not that it would have been hard) won the norm smith,came back from oscurity in the vfl. everyone has been caught speeding havent they? we all know what its like to see the fine and the humiliation from peers. its not like he did any drugs! he wouldnt be a good role model to kids anyways imo.

ive said it once before, ill say it again, we are better off without miller. we have won 4 games without him! go on have a cry you miller lovers! he is crap and all he deserves is to be playing with himself instead of playing with the team.

he has had too many chances to show he has the qualities of an afl player. Playing a few decent games isnt good enough in my opinion, you have to show consistency to be a decent footballer, not a handful of games. I think his decline came when he was booted off the leadership team, thats the only reason i can think of.

Just quietly, I reckon some of the guy you've mentioned who play footy that's a 'disgrace to the AFL' are the same guys that 'actually give a [censored] about the jumper'.

i know we have had our fair share of injuries,probably the most significant of the last 10 years to affect a core playing group in the afl. but, these guys play the game we love and get paid very well to do it and why is it that i constantly ask my fellow supporters why we chip the ball around,handball to players under pressure, why they cannot hit a target at the highest level, why we never kick long to a forward option ,and last of all, why we persist in playing has-beens instead of youth. experience? who needs experience when you have only won 3 games? im talking names such as miller,brown,godfrey and ward. pack your bags boys, off to the vfl for you guys. im sick of watching dumb crap football which is a disgrace to the afl. i feel sorry for the hard working players at the club who actually give a [censored] about the jumper instead of a pay cheque. yes,we lost,got belted in fact by a clearly better, well drilled unit with less funds than us, less members and facilities but they have one thing the mfc lacks; spirit. i can understand players have bad games, things dont go the way you would have liked, but why im am so disgusted that we just gave up is the expression on robbo's face during the game and after. i felt exactly the way he did, [censored] off. at the start of the game both teams have the same amount of players. everyone is accountable for a player. it seems we only had about 6 players and they had about 30. i gave up this season a few weeks ago, but deep down i thought we had a little fire in the belly, i guess i was wrong. thats all i have to say. :angry: :angry:

well if we beat the pies monday week without miller then its not a coincidence. go dees! i knew we would win today, our body language was to die for. i can feel brock mclean developing each week back into the legend that he is, it did look good having him lead us out too! future premonition!

i pull my hair out when miller has taken a good mark,and 95% of the time he handballs it to a running player. cant he kick or something? its not a miller bashing arguement im trying to discuss here, we had a better forward structure without him and we will beat collingwood without him too. he just does not create enough for a forward focal point imo. bate was sensationaltoday,as was silvia's one percenters, bloody brilliant.

i agree, we looked tired, can you tell me why neitz had a mark on fifty, and kicked backwards? the ball ended up going all the way back to the goalsquare down the other end. they talked about green getting 35+ possessions. he was great today, but how many were contested? his marks into backs were brilliant though.

best game ive seen him play. he was exceptional in his second efforts too, thats what we want to see.

4 quarters of football is all we need, gallant, but not good enough. play footy like the last quarter, every quarter and you could turn the ladder upside down right now. get rid of the passengers and start becoming leaders dees. that comment appliesto the first three quarters.

just get rid of miller, cant stand him. never makes the right decision always handballs! cant he kick? include ward and brown and get a new backline coach, kick ins are like jon dorotich in his day, straight to the opposition.

get out while the ship is sinking neale. we need a new structure and a cleanout. we need new blood, get rid of the crap no heart money hungry players. i would rather try something new and lose than keep the old and keep losing. the afl is so crap to watch these days, as the qld people say; aerial ping pong is afl, and im starting to agree.

if you ask me, i think we were really suprised in ourselves to be in the game. we arent very confident in ourselves when we have the footy, we have poor kicking and we let ourselves down by our inability to have someone stand up and deliver. this is because we have lost key players, we arent match fit, we have a constantly changing team, we cant get a good team balance and this creates inaccurate decisions and costly turnovers. credit to really stick it to port, who obviously thought they would be in for an easy game. i think aaron davey is really in a form slump at the moment and needs maybe to go back to get some confidence. i was impressed with the young guys especially, really trying hard,but its clear we are in an unfortunate position and we must keep fighting it out, who knows, we might surprise someone this season coz in my opinion september is a pipedream for us now.

im on the sunny coast and had to stream it thru bigpond, but its not the same. the coverage is complete bs to people in qld unless you are a lions supporter. well done afl and ch7 you are losing followers of this once great game in which you have ruined with poor coverage and crappy rule changes. im calling it gay-FL like the other league wankers coz im starting to believe them. sheer stupidity at its best.

lets get a new coach.its time for some new strategy and idea's. he has been at the club too long and he has been serviceable. the players need to be dropped when playing ordinary, have some pride in themselves and feel pain when you lose. seems they only want to chat with other players and joke around after the game. its not good enough. i hate to say this, but essendon last year didnt give up when they were in strife and sheedy didnt hesitate to drop players out of form when he needed them most. give some young kids a run and give the old blokes a lesson in wanting to play 4 quarters like the young guys who are keen and hungry.
