If true itâs a kick in the guts to the club who has supported hi during his mental health issues .. if true players  have too power, if true I question his character as his biting hand thatâs fed him & supported him.. if true in hindsight club should have made him  play at Casey l this year until he earned  the right to play senior footy .. if true Iâm disgusted by himÂ
Considering what went on 12 months ago, Player 13 should have played 8-10 games at Casey, to earn his spot back. I was very disappointed this didnât happenÂ

Ummh Brody was actually their best player, not that that is saying a lot. Won the hit outs and at 3 quarter time he was leading the Swans for disposals. He did his job. As did Jordan.Â
I didnât think Brodie was that bad at all
His Midfield around him were disgracefulÂ

Who like? You mention "players" plural, but the only player we've traded in of late who hasn't played a game is Fullarton.
If you're only trading lower/cheap picks and offering salaries to match, to only have one amongst a number who didn't get an AFL game is actually good trading.
The cheap lower picks we got rid of played in this year Finals Series, whilst Fullarton, Schache, McAdam and Hunter have done bugger all.
Can you not see the Massive imbalance created?

No list, however talented, is ever entitled to a flag. A lot needs to go right on many fronts, and often requires plenty of luck too.Â
Are you suggesting our list over the last 3 years has been comparable to that of recent dynasty teams? We don't even have a single established, consistent key forward. In no way has our list been that good. Dee's fans tend to overestimate the quality of our list holistically. Our top end talent is as good as it gets, but our middle of the road and below players are what prevents us from having Richmond or Hawthorn type success.ÂYour expectations far outweigh the actual quality of our list.
That all comes down to how much work the playing group was prepared to put in.Â
there was to much playing off fieldâŠ. -

We wanted Grundy out. Geelong wanted Stengle out. Gold Coast wanted Chol out. Port Adelaide wanted Teakle out. Gold Coast wanted Bowes out. Hawthorn wanted Mitchell out.Â
It's not a good argument.
We have paid peanuts to get depth players to complement the strong list we already had. Hawthorn paid a lot of money because they had salary cap to burn due to their terrible performances whilst we had a list with the contracts of Petracca, Oliver, Gawn, May, Lever, Brayshaw, Salem, Langdon etc on it. You're comparing apples with oranges.Â
But we have bought in Players who are not even depth. When a spot opened up for a Senior game, they were not selected.Â
That is incredibly poor trading, considering who we let go -

Let's accept for a moment your charitable view that a club source leaked all the material to the media and the Petracca camp had nothing to do with it.
The media reported that Petracca wanted to be traded and his contract was the only thing preventing that, and that he wants to play for "a big club" in front of big crowds.
There was no denial of this by the Petracca camp and there hasnât been since. If this wasn't his position then the club and Petracca would have been straight on the front foot to deny it, but Petracca's silence was conspicuous and all we ultimately got was the explanation you quoted.
I conclude that the substance of the story is true and who leaked it is less important. If it was the Petracca camp, which must be possible, then that is more damining.
My take is slightly different, I think all the Petracca material was leaked to the Media, for the purpose of putting a Rocket up the Club. For the past 18 months-2 years, there have been problems off field, standards dropping, shall we say
Tracc had had enough, the continued silence was there to reinforce the point that he is dead serious.Â

Gee, I would never have guessed that you, and some others, thought that. I had no idea that some people considered that we were disappointing in the finals in 22 and 23.Â
ÂHere an idea: Why don't you, and other likeminded posters, bring it to our attention by mentioning it about 20 times per page on each and every thread on this site? But make sure that you don't mention the losing margins in the finals last year, or the injury list, or the poor kicking for goal by a number of generally reliable players....
Can you stop making excuses pleaseâŠ
Youâve been doing it for weeks nowÂ
