Watch the last Quarter.
there is no way Fritta could run and compete, the way he did, if he had a serious injury to his foot, even if he had a pain killing jab.
Whatch his run up when going for goal, looks great.

Good, hope they miss out. Its too hard for them to be patient and figure it out, they can't simply scratch an X on a signature line, like they do at Centerlink
I was wondering if they had turned on their Laptop…

If we lose we would play either Carlton or Sydney, then if we win we could also end up in Adelaide i guess. Neither scenario thrills me particularly, especially if its wet at either venue.
If we beat The Filth we get a home Preliminary…

Seriously, every single AFL Player should have foot scans after every game.
The running stress and directional changes within a match are off the chartsBailey was very chirpy and positive when interviewed in the rooms after the match, so it can’t be too bad, unless he woke up this morning with a reaction…

IF we get to hold up the Cup in five weeks time, IF…
I would make certain that Jake Melksham is on the ground and is acknowledged

I do not understand why The AFL does not take eye gouging seriously. It is a disgrace, going right back to Chris Judd.
It is highly dangerous-

There are some good points there - and Grundy should be able to display some personal pride in his form against the former club. I suspect skinny, meatless Cox will avoid attempting to maim Grundy, but Max is going to be his target with the knee and boot-stub. Get Cox angry, or humiliate him, and he goes to water, becoming totally ineffective. Grundy will know this; Grundy should have a tactic or two to invoke this. Max will play his game and will still be a target all around the ground. We must keep Maxie on two feet - no falling over - support and protection must be rendered. Max will take us to a win in the GF if we can do this, taking no prisoners elsewhere on the ground - we must ensure that he remains injury-free.
100%
Grundy is 6ft 8. He can be very useful off the bench, when opponents are exhaustedI said it at the start of the year, Grundy could be a real weapon off the bench. He isn’t a forward, he can be a weapon elsewhere
I really hope we use him in September

the vitriol aimed at him from peptides' people is extraordinary - i thought he was a good egg?
i mean, i know he's part of the anointed afl bois' club, but they really seem to hate him
Essendrug people hate everyone.
Feeling is mutualThey still haven’t been in a world of pain yet.
Their list is very overrated-

The Filth have 2 Ruckmen who will both have Max in their sites.
we should consider rotating Grundy off the Bench, whilst we can. This is September.
play him against his old team, who discarded him…We need Max for a month of serious work

Good on him I say. I was at the Hawthorn v Essendon game when he kicked that running goal along the members wing. One of the most spectacular individual moments I've witnessed. Will live with me forever. Sydney is his home and he's ready to move on. Godspeed, Buddy.
Yes. He was a bad boy in Melbourne…

Swans are playing for a home final so hardly meaningless
That is irrelevant to the MFC
The Swans have no right to choose anything after last weeks disgrace

This must be a weird game for the Players. Yes they need a good hit out, but it is meaningless.
If Sydney hadn’t been gifted last weeks game, the whole weekend would not have been a complete Yawn Fest -

I'm certain all my fans will be relieved to hear that good old Uncle Bitter has returned safely from his journey of enlightenment in Siam.
I am not unscathed , however, as I have brought with me an unwanted souvenir in the form of some sort of Bangkok bug. In fact, I have just had the manorial staff place my sick bed in front of the big screen in order to view the game.
And big it is ! While the four points may not matter so much, it is an opportunity to enter to the big time with impetus and commence our finals campaign on a high. I am confident this is our year and this afternoon we shall demonstrate that fact.
Apart from victory, my main point of interest will be the return of Mr. Fritta. His game time maybe somewhat foreshortened but he needs to get get some clean touches and ... hopefully ... snag one or two. He is crucial to us claiming the Cup!
Dees by 17.
Glad you made it home Unc

Yes I know that. I'm saying that, I'd rather face Brisbane in a QF, than the prospect of *losing* against Collingwood and then being on a pathway to going to the Gabba in a PF. The pathway to the is GF is easier if you win the QF, obviously. But I'm thinking of the pathway if we lose the QF. And that pathway is easier if we play Brisbane week 1.
I haven’t contemplated losing yet. We should already be in 2nd place
We have already been cheated

Might be unpopular but I'd actually rather Port lose and we win. It's either Brisbane at the Gabba in a QF, and then a pathway back to what will likely be 2-3 games at the MCG. Or, potentially a Gabba Prelim. Which is way harder. Granted I am more confident of a Pies QF win than a Brisbane Gabba QF win, but Brisbane won't lose a Prelim at the Gabba.
If we win the QF we are straight into a Home Preliminary
