    My comments began with me replying to, a "fizzer" of a season. I reckon it is a fizzer of a season without Saturday night's.

    Foxtel pay more to the AFL than ch 7, sadly that is the reality 

    In a few years from now FTA TV will not exist, nobody watches it, people Stream or watch YouTube 80% of the time. 
    Nobody pays for advertising slots on FTA TV anymore…

    I'm a little confused as to your overall point. You've posted numerous times that you don't think our forwardline is much of a cause for concern, so where do you think we need to improve to give ourselves the best shot at contending again? I would say our inability to capitalise on the scoreboard has been our greatest weakness for several years now and is the area that has room for the most improvement. I think that we could apply some relatively simple fixes to improve that area, such as cheating forward off the clearance and pulling our press back a bit to open up the forwardline rather than slowly kicking to contests and predictable safe zones like the forward pockets. I think what we'd gain offensively from those sorts of moves would outweigh what we lose defensively.

    The only way i can see us improving in the Forward Line this year is if, with the Players we have, is to bring the ball in with more speed.

    Fair enough. I haven’t seen any Casey games for a couple of years 

    I certainly hope he succeeds, but i worry that he does not impose himself enough in games. 
    I was surprised he didn’t get a run late last year, in order to give him a taste of the upper level, the fact he didn’t even when our Forward Line was not functioning well is to me a concern.

    When has Jeffersen dominated a game at VFL Level?

    How do you know he is in our best Forward Line?

    You live in hope, which i am not knocking, but that’s all it is up to this point.

    Thats where Petty needs to be smarter as a defender and not allow those kind of easy outlet goals. With Gawn on one wing and Petty on the other for kick ins we can stop most run ons....

    Absolutely. You can still be a very dominant defender up the ground 

    Petty helped us win a Flag as a solid defender. 
    Keeping the ball off the opposition should be Coached all over the ground

    Petty’s easily one of our best contested marks and given our lack of small forward pressure and lack of quality small forward full stop, I think he could be of use up there. But yeah, he wasn’t great up forward last year.

    Petty should go no further than the Center Square from a defensive position 

    He took Marks in the middle of the Ground against Jeeelong and was very effective

    Considering the NRL Vegas jaunt was last weekend 

    This whole episode is an absolute farce that is going to cost people a lot of money. 
    Andrew Dillon and Laura Kane have got some serious explaining to do, not that they will say a word….

    11.24 is a concern in any game, so Chaplin and Choco have some serious work ahead of them in the next 2 weeks 

    Otherwise it was ok, for a Praccy

    1.9 at halftime is very concerning. Goodwin has to get the team firing earlier in games, otherwise we will get murdered….
