    I always find it amazing when the whole team is not switched on.

    I am not blaming Coaches, because they have probably been pumping up the whole side for at least 90 minutes, but like Sunday in the first quarter, the whole 22 gave such a small response. Not 1 or 2 players, i can understand that, but when the whole side is flat. How does that occur?

    It has to be psychological, we need to improve massively in this area

    Jeeelong & the Filth have been doing it for decades, it’s expected, as it should be. But for the MFC it’s always been very sporadic.

    The Whole Club needs a line in the sand. After 2021 i thought this had been sorted, but too many went into party mode and now the Mojo has gone

    Losing Gus Brayshaw was a massive hit, but it should never have taken the whole Club down

    There has to be some serious fight shown in these last 8 weeks or else the MFC will be irrelevant once again

    The damage of the first quarter effort unfortunately mitigates some of the positive to be taken out of the way we finished in my opinion. I just can't see how an AFL football team can come out in a game like this, after a bye, wanting to support their under pressure coach who they all apparently love with an effort like we saw in the first quarter.

    It makes you sick. Forget gameplans, ball movement, skills. The bare minimum you bring each game is effort, there is never a reason to not be ready for an AFL game. If the Suns could have kicked even a little better we would have been blown off the park.

    The Carlton game last season still pisses me off going scoreless and losing by less than a kick in the end. St Kilda average like 70 pts a game in 2025 and we allowed them to kick 6 in the first quarter.

    It is a continuous pattern since the flag. Season on the line and we dish out that first quarter tripe. What a complete and utter joke!

    This Team beat last Year’s Premier and were 1 Point off the Filth.

    They can play, but they choose when to play.

    That is definitely on the Coach and to a lesser degree the Captain

    The internal standards are not high enough

    Goodwin should do the honourable thing and step down tonight

    We need new leadership in the Football Department NOW

    I know it is quite incredible, that’s why i was disappointed that changes weren’t bought in after the ‘23 Finals Series

    You could see that the signs weren’t good. Our games were a grind to watch

    We are horrible to watch. No skills, effort that we turn on and off like a tap, and absolutely mind boggling game plan.

    Kosi is the only player in this team that I enjoy watching. Everyone else is either unskilled or a non entity.

    We have been horrible to watch for 2-3 Seasons. But it has hit Rock Bottom this year

    Since Burgess left it has been a slow decline in standards and preparation

    Goodwin’s mythical Gameplan is non competitive
