  1. I would be Hoping JW will Debut against the West Coke at the 'G. That's how i would play it.

There will Hopefully be many more QB's for Mr watts in years to come....He may play this week & if he does Good Luck, but this is how i see it.

  2. I posted these clips last year. Makes me happy knowing fellow Dee fans are still enjoying these.

Last Time i went to vic Park was the Day Jacka kicked 8, we won after trailing all day. Beautiful day it was.

'why you little', I've actually got that Victoria Park Game on DVD as well. A cracker. Schwarta ended up playing centre half back after Sav threatened to take the game away from us. The Ox ended up shutting him down, hauling in 11 marks and 3 votes in the process.

If my blasted DVD drive wasn't busted, I'd get more clips up.

Yes i have it on VHS somewhere-The Ox had the Pony tail Happening!!

  3. We'll be fighting the Doggies for this one. After the Mission Foods debacle let's hope we can get this wrapped up and secure our furure right here in Melbourne, and of course Darwin!!

Could be a fight, but right now we have some allies in our team

Cameron Schwabb v Campbell Rose. Certainly a Heavy weight battle ensues. Both ,men know their stuff.

But i will back schwabby on this one. He doesn't get burnt twice.

  4. quatermaine is a [censored] sounds like the super nanny

"Jason that is totally unacceptable behaviour" , "get out of the box" (and into the naughty corner hehe)

Yes "Go & sit on the Naughty Chair" until further notice. The Drawn Together Cartoon had a great episode of that nanny concept-Hilarious!

But at the same time, if someone threw a plate of fried rice at me while i was at work i would be [censored] off.

The Trent Croad question was fair enough, & the injury is far worse than Bunger wishes to admit.

  5. This whole Darwin thing is a great Idea, we should pursue it full on.

I never realized how bad these stadium deals were until i ddid some reading. It will not be resolved quickly.

The MFC must be pro active. 3-4 games a year up there against smaller clubs. Down here we get a big social club going & all watch it on the Big screen. Club makes $$$$ two ways.

In the words of NIKE "Just do it"

  6. I think you're right. Does it relate to the fact we finished with one less win last year than West Coast?

When I think back to the game at Subiaco against West Coast, that last quarter......does anyone question anything....or is it just me? Fwiw, I think our side was trying to win......not so sure about West Coast. Maybe it's just me....

Bailey had Jones & Davey on the Bench for the last seven or so minutes of the game. The "List Management" Scenario thought went thru my head for sure.

  7. If only he had have stayed fit. On his day the best I have seen as a forward in the red and blue. The filth hated him more then anything and wasn't it good when he turned it on against them!

Agree re lyon and being the heart and soul of the side. Also not a bad side in that day!

Last Time i went to vic Park was the Day Jacka kicked 8, we won after trailing all day. Beautiful day it was.

  8. Hey,

I found this on You tube. It may have been posted before but well worth another view. I couldnt find it on a quick search (please combine with any old thread)

Just a few things hit me when I watched this. G Lyon drove this team. After nearly every goal Gaz ran up to the kicker and told him all about it and gave them a rev up. Jacka.........Jesus he was good, only if Watts can light it up like this when he makes his mark.

But the main thing I wanna see back in the Red and blue is the passion in this clips!!

    Enjoy

    Go Dees

To all those who question-Watch the first clip & tell me G Lyon does not love the MFC-He just knows its best to stay diplomatic when working in the Media. I am sure Gaddy has had many chats with Jimma over the last 12 months.

  9. We are on show on Monday, for our one Game of the year. I just want all the players to give it their best shot. The whole team to play well, not just for ten minutes. But for the entire match.

Whether we actually win is this year irrelevant to me, although it would be nice. As long as some of our young kids start believing that they can actually play at this level, with creativity & composure.

Some of the Filth's players are no more experienced than our young guys. Big effort from DB this week.

  10. Presidents of both St. Kilda and the Bulldogs raised concerns in the media when they moved to the dome, or very early on in their tenancy. They were howled down by Wayne Jackson, who said they were full of it, and that Docklands was a great thing for both these clubs. It would seem he was the one who was full of it...

Yes Wayne Jackson has a Hell of a lot to answer for & should be accountable. But sadly like a dethroned Politician seems to have got away totally free & blameless.

He alone has cost Victorian clubs Millions of $$$$

  11. Obviously, no one saw it as a potential financial abyss. Let's not forget, that the 'powerhouse' Essendon football club also signed a deal there.

Essendon were the first to sign up at the Dome, & they did there Homework. The Clubs that followed were handed the Dregs, it just astounds me that nobody made noises about it at the time.

Somebody told Big lies & nobody picked it up. The outcome is still a long way off. Shareholders will always want to be paid before tenants.

  12. True, but totally at our expense... Shows a lack of respect for the club... I don't like it...

And correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Sheeds was in the final 5 candidates, along with Riley, Hardwick, Connolly and of course Bailey...

Sheeds was definately interviewed on that last day..I think he was the first candidate on the day...Bailey was the last.

  13. We'll win

I Doubt that very Much. The Saints will Jump us early & then Hold sway. Similiar to last Sunday.

Those Wankers will earn every minute of it though. Melbourne is a Tough Tackling Learning Side.

The Saints Ruckmen will absolutely Murder us, in tandem.

    Saints by 17

  14. The Demon is waking up & he is very Hungry. Our club is moving-we can all taste it.

This Momentum should be fed & Nurtured, So the Entire AFL takes notice of us. We are Melbourne The Heart & Soul of Australian Football.

No wonder Bailey got a unanamous vote after his initial Interview. Very Smart Young Man-Thorough, you can see the improvement so much on last year.

    Go the Demons......

  15. no way will this happen... we sell games interstate too... how would we feel if we played 6 of our home games interstate? wouldn't be too impressed I wouldn't think... neither would the bulldogs... plus the AFL wouldn't be satisfied with this arrangement long term, as they want west sydney to have its own side...

unless the dogs are about to go Bankrupt, this is no chance of happening...

Let us Remember. The Bulldogs Signed the Deal with Telstra Dome as did North Melbourne. Why did someone not smell a financial Rat back then. I am sure the accountants had access to the deals, or did Wayne Jackson & co just talk sweet to them pointing a Gun "Sign ze Papers Old Man"

These clubs will not survive 2 years with the stadium deals as they are.

And what's with knocking back the MCC. Looked very Fair to me considering the debt they must carry.

Sadly the Dogs & Kangas may not have a choice in there future outcomes if there is not quick agreements.

  16. I remember that incident when Lloyd pole-axed Caracella right in front of us on the members' wing.

Mouth wide open like a gobbling gold-fish, Lloyd lined up Woey from about 10 m. and ran straight at him. Woey saw him at the last second and baulked out of the way.

Caracella couldn't see Lloyd ,who was obscured by Woey ,till too late.

He had to be helped off.

I think it was the only time ND Beat Sheeds. Top view i had of that collision!!!!! (1998 i think)

  17. Some players I would rather have before we went for Fevola :

    Jason Laycock

    Fabian Deluca

    Cain Ackland

    Simon Crawshay

    Clinton Wolf (Ex Freo)

    Ryan O'Connor

Richard Lounder (No. 1 pick who played 4 games for Richmond in `89)

    Courtney Johns

    Luke Molan

    Ben Doolan

    James Manson

    Brett Chalmers

    Greg Stafford

    Stuart Wigney

    Steven Sziller

    Sudjai Cook

    Brent Grgic

So, after racking my brain for those names, my answer is NO.... Stay away Fevola.... You are a disease! Keep infecting your current club :P

Don't forget Fui Atata or Athos Herousalakis in those Dealings or maybe the Great "Tony Dullard"
