I see it as bringing ownership of the number (from a club, coach and player perspective) into the modern MFC age - nothing to do with 'give the kid a number from the past because the past is all we've got'.
It we can't bring such an important number with us on this, the new 'journey', what soul-less bland entity are we?

I see we were training on Collingwoods oval at Goshs'.
We were always going to take that over when the pies moved to their other training ground. Does anyone know if thats happened and thats why we're on their oval? Or are they just in Arizona?

Dunn, or any other player that gifts the ball to the opposition after a decision in our favour, deserves to be penalised. Doubly. Triply if it helps.
After all, Dunn could make far better use of his time forcing a ball down the umpires throat for the next throw up.

I guess the other good thing about #3 is that your mids can just shove the opposition ruck into your ruck prior to the throw. Free kick please and thank you.

Re 3, who gets the free kick when both ruckmen lean into each other 1 second before the ball is bounced thrown? Can we get a video review system there too please?

We don't have time for all sides to become 'even', so they can all play exciting to watch Footy.
Which is a big part of what I believe to be the reasoning behind FA and it's compensation - the re-seeding of the grass - insofar as the AFL is concerned.
Vitally important that the AFL micro-monitor it and adjust as necessary to bring an end to the never-a-chance supporter fatigue.

Generally love your work HG but you realy should've determined that attendance value before posting. It's my understanding it's 22,000 to break even (if the top is closed). Can understand some frustration though. One home and one away wouldn't bother me for a set period.
