  1. That is my recollection.
  2. About $450.000.00 over three years.
  3. But unlike Brock, he left for more money,
  4. I have changed it as you suggested.
  5. What would we be accused of then?
  6. Could the Mod who changed the title to the thread and all those who think this was directed at tanking on the field, please look again at the opening post and understand that I was making a joke ( probably not a good one ) that we actually tanked in our drafting, not our playing. To the Mod, you have changed the meaning of my thread.
  7. And while he is at it, don't forget to mention the $1.2 million that he got from them for the last three years, that we wouldn't match. That is why he left. Tell the truth Brock it is much easier.
  8. It was a joke, I said that we tanked at drafting not playing.
  9. And still another drama for us in 2012.
  10. We should come right out and admit that we tanked, in our drafting, at every draft in the last five years. There, I have admitted it.
  11. Agree. He also handballed directly to a North player who then goaled. Thought he had an awful game.
  12. Gee Clint, half his napkin will be gone by next year.
  13. Who am I apologizing for? Read post 84.
  14. My post is about the insinuation that McLean left because we tanked. He bloody didn't, it was money and nothing else.
  15. We will also destroy Casey's finals again due to injured players.
  16. Lets not rewrite history. There is one reason and one reason only why Brock went to Carlton, we refused to give him a 3 year contact at $400000.00 per year. Carlton gave it to him and we wouldn't. He had come off another injury and his form wasn't great. That's right, hard to believe when a club like Carlton is involved, they gave him the money and he left. They offered us pick 11 and we grabbed it. Now lets not say it was for any other reason as if we had antied up the dollars he would have stayed. PS. On another note I think Sheahan's constant criticism of us and his description of the "club" as pathetic and disgraceful is the worst piece of journalism ever seen and he should be ashamed of himself. I go further, I would publicly state that he is not welcome and to hell with the consequences.
  17. Jetta suspended 1 week and Nicholson a broken jaw. That is 17 players out. Unbelievable.
  18. Interesting that no one has mentioned Trengove. I thought his game yesterday was awful. He cost us four goals.
  19. i am still furious with Ryan Ferguson who cost us Sewell by refusing to go to Hawthorn. We should have threatened him with "you will never play another senior game for us if you don't go". We were weak.
  20. Clint, I just edited my post to mention his hitouts yesterday and the assistance he gave to Couch, Morton and Gysberts, 3 of our best against Frankston. I just think Fitzpatrick will have more to offer as he can play in more important roles. With Tappy, I like him I just am not sure where he plays and it obviously can't be on a tall. He doesn't appear to be a mid. He would seem to be suitable only to a forward or back flank and not on a speedster.
  21. Well Josh, it is either hope we fix the crap or give up. I live in hope.
  22. Believe it or not Fitzpatrick is much quicker than Tapscott and that's official, is 20 cms taller, is 6 days younger ( only joking ) and to me has more upside. Where do you play Tapscott? What do you think is his position? I did say that a few of the ones I named will be moved on and I am pretty sure that Tapscott will stay, but I am concerned that at 180cms and with his ability he is limited, despite his toughness and fearless attack on the ball, which at times has shown a lack of awareness of players around him including team mates. I hope he proves me wrong though. As for Fitzpatrick he has the size and pace to play a number of positions and that makes him more valuable IMO. He has also been hindered by Glandular Fever and now Diabetes which he will now hopefully get under control. He has also had some very good games for Casey, kicking some great goals and rucking one out. "Fitzpatrick 46 hit outs" yesterday. Couch, Morton and Gysberts had 90 possies between them, they might have an opinion of Fitzpatrick.
  23. Agree.
