Just watched On The Couch and once again Sheahan had a go at Melbourne, saying Jimmy and the Board and the administrators were complicit in the tanking and should all have been punished. He was reminded that we were found not guilty by the AFL and said oh well. I have now watched or read several media people have a go at us and in the same breath or sentence, totally ignore the other clubs that did the same. As a result I have come to the following conclusion: "A large percentage of media people are gutless lackies and bullies."

The club either employed the guy or it didn't. It would be easy to verify if it did. This harpy has it in for our club and some of its officials and at every opportunity puts the boots in. I note that she refuses to mention any of the rumours surrounding one of her beloved Tigers. She has now ruined one of the footy shows I previously enjoyed, Footy Classified, as I can't watch the show without seeing and hearing her. IMO she has less credibility than the AFL and that's saying something.

I would imagine that she has just made it up. Examine it for a second. There has been no interview with a Demon in the Age recently that I can recall. Therefore she has spoken to a few players somewhere and asked them if they saw Dank at Melbourne and they said yes. I doubt that. I doubt our players would even speak to her.PS: Who has she called for to be sacked this week? That is her raison d'etre (reason for existence).

I am waiting for Bombers to get a lesser punishment for injecting a list of players and secret contracts, than we got for a private comment.

Blues have appealed the result saying they were forced to play away from their home, Visy Park. AFL Commission Chairman Mike Fitzpatrick has backed them and said they will win the Appeal. Well done Lions, you overcame the AFL's lack of integrity.

If only that was true. They have a former Captain as head of the AFL, they didn't get investigated for tanking despite the admissions, they have a large supporter base and growing membership, they have very wealthy backers, do you think they won't get whatever they want.I can see us being fixtured at the New Guinea showgrounds at 5.00 AM, in coming years.

Prosecution witness saying he saw Basil Jurrah armed with a machete and with a gang of his own, before he was hurt. Also said he didn't see Liam hit Basil and that he was half tanked. If he is the standard of witness for the prosecution in this trial Liam will be ok.

Watched the first 3/4 of the game saturday so far. The umpiring was disgraceful. We showed some glimpses.

I would play all the young ones and give any player who has played all 3 previous weeks the week off except maybe Hogan.
