It has to be his farewell game against his old side. Not sure he is good enough to make the Casey side.
-
Incorrect. He was a Lions player when they met. Married his wife Tami in 1992. Moved to Sydney in 1995 where he playerd 87 games with the Swans after 269 with the Lions. I think his oldest boy was born in Melbourne.

I know Davis is not a great kick, which is a pity because I think he has some ability and can play at either end of the ground. It will be interesting to see how the new coach evaluates him.
-
Hard to argue against that.
-
There is, he has been looking at the team Carlton played the week before each game.
-
I want him kept. He is a quick, mobile, versatile, young ruckman/key position player, who can also kick goals. He is part of our future, not our past. If you want to trade big men Jamar is available. He has none of Jack's qualities.
-
His experience should be kept. It would be good for the other players, to see him play some good footy under the new Coach and finish as a one club player.
-
Rodan has shown enough to get another year.
-
I forgot Troy Davis, but I think they will keep him for another year. He is a big strong boy who is hard at it and if he can improve his kicking, is a chance.

Is this what Kevin Rudd feels like?
-
So what you are saying is that someone who has been spot on previously, has speculated that Roos has signed. To sum up he has guessed.
-
Being brutal, I can see Byrnes, Gillies, Jetta, Bail, MacDonald, Davey and possibly Sellar and Strauss leaving/retiring and maybe Jamar being traded. I think Pedersen stays another year as he is contracted for 2 more. Byrnes I would pay out and offer him a year at Casey playing/coaching. If we were offered a mid for Tapscott I could see him going. I think we will make at least 8 changes to the senior list.

I think the recruiting over development issue is being proved over and over again. Look at the younger players who have left us, how many have developed and improved at their new clubs. Look at an Ollie Wines, he walks in and plays great footy in his first year. He is good. Surely this is not due to development in a pre-season. There is still an important part of your improvement, being development, but I am of the view you have it, or you don't. Development can only take you so far.
-
Agree. Don't know what all the Carlton moneymen and ex players are on about.
-
He would be better off holding Gillies hand as he can't play either. Pedersen at least has shown a bit especially at Casey.
-
Doing what?
-
Unfortunately you are not.

Looking like a heavy track again this weekend.
-
Ok then lets ramp it up. I want Byrnes out of the side forever. This might be his farewell game back at the cattery.
-
Is that Robbo's new band?
-
No in a small pool, which this is, a medium bet can change the odds dramatically. It could have been a very modest bet that started all this betting info.

I'll stick to my banana smoothies and banana dacquiries.

Just spoke to a recently retired AFL umpire mate, who said that while the rules are silent on this point, the umpires have been instructed to pay the Clisby situation as delieberately rushed. Despite the rules saying that disposal by hand is incorrect, after a point and requires a ball up penalty, as the first rule breach, they have been instructed otherwise. It makes the umpires question of "did he kick it or handball it" to the goal umpire, sperfluous, as in either case they have been instructed to pay deliberate, as the defender had prior opportunity . This as I said, is not in the rules. Given the question by the field umpire, he was obviously going to pay a point if kicked, but deliberate if handballed, he is wrong according to the rules and also according to his direction from the umpires Coach. Make of that what you will.

Must confess I have never had a glass of scotch in my life, so I wouldn't know about the different ones. Most I have had is a small sip, once or twice.

Don't forget his cousin Johnny.
