I would imagine he is devastated. The punting syndicate has destroyed BC3 Racing, of which he is/was CEO. It is now in Administration. This will not help his future working prospects. He would be shattered.

Greed is is a brain blocker.

No paperwork provided to participants. Wonder if the guy worked at Essendon.

Bingo.

Apparently the horse will never race, just as every vet said at the sales. Oh, the purchaser's vet was the only one to say low risk, when all the others said high risk, due to knee issues. Now we hear the owners paid BC3 for their shares in the horse, but the money wasn't passed on to the Sales Company, which retains the ID papers. Can't race even if it was able to, can't be sold. Owners would be happy.

Well under their precedent of this year, we won't be discussing a PP for any other team than us, for at least 7 years. If we have another shocker it will be 8 years of failure and we might be looked at. We will then have to look at our communal programs, to see if by fixing them we can make the 8.

Wonder if CAC is regretting his move from footy to racing. He left the Tigers for BC3 Thoroughbreds which is headed by the same guy being questioned over the missing punters club millions. PS. BC3 is also apparently in default of payment to Inglis Thoroughbred Auctions, for the purchase of the $5m colt that will never race, but is recovering from a spider bite. PPS. CAC is a decent guy and in no way do I suggest he has done anything wrong.

Might see you there if I am free. PS. Read my last post on the AFL Officials thread and post what you think.

When one revisits the Evans decision not to award us a PP of any position at all, in the last ND, one tends to wonder how could that decision be logically arrived at. IMO logic had nothing to do with it. The MFC clearly beyond any doubt, deserved a PP under the existing criteria. We were crap for 7 years and everyone agreed. We experienced some of the worst thrashings in the history of the game. One media pundit described us as "pathetic and disgusting". He actually is a supporter of the MFC. Imagine what the others thought of us. IMO the reason it wasn't awarded was because on the overseas jaunt, some of the heavy hitters railed against it and continued in the local media, when back in Oz. The AFL was embarrassed because we had just been punished for "tanking" and lastly because we got what was seen as very good compo for the number 1 pick who took the money and ran. None of those matters are within the criteria for awarding a PP. One of the reasons given by Evans for refusing our request for a PP was because we had a good "community relations" program. Really, that helps us on the field in what way? IMO that can be seen therefore, as a corrupt decision, based not on the AFL's own criteria, but rather pandering to a few powerful clubs. A high PP could have cost the Pies Scharenberg for example. The powerful clubs got what they wanted once again at the expense of a weak club and the AFL was complicit. This IMO can be seen as a form of corruption and unfortunately it is not an isolated example.

"It can be seen in numerous “tanking” allegations, most of which were ignored, other’s swept under the carpet, until finally culminating in the harsh punishments dealt to a scapegoat. It can be seen in the “priority pick” system which encouraged the above. A system that was quietly abandoned without an admission of fault, or even an acknowledgement that the issues might be related." (From the Article referred to above.) More comfort for those with the victim mentality, like myself.

Hoping to get down to training on wednesday.

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>

If ASADA need Danks to sing or produce documents to issue infraction notices, then I don't think there will be any issued. That however will most likely not be the case. -

We will know the answer to that fairly soon I would imagine. -
And there it is in one word. That's what we all want to see.

Unless there is a prohibition on cross sharing and I can't see why there would be, everything goes into the cake. That is why the case may be made well before Dank utters a word or refuses to.It's like the old detective shows. The cop says to the crook ok we know you did it because we have the following on you and x has sung like a canary. Help us now and it will go easier for you. Even if he refuses to co operate, they probably have their case ready to go. One can imagine what they have had access to: surveillance tapes, invoices from suppliers, statements from nurses who administered subtances, statements from suppliers, statements from the players and officials, etc, etc, etc. -
Does make you wonder.

Sarcasm detection meter turned off WJ?

Still, someone put it on Demonland and that is where I read it, so no need to change my post.

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>

Dank will be more the icing than the main ingredient in the cake. It will have been baked and ready to decorate when they finish it with him, or not. -
Should we be worried? In a report on the training thread, it said that Dunn was contested by Hogan and Dunn beat him every time. I don't want to moz this kid but after seeing him play live I formed the view he is the closest thing I have seen to a young Carey. I hope with all my heart he signs a long term contract with us and plays a long career and injury free with us. If that happens he will go down as one of our greats.

I am really now of the view that they are scared of his blowing the whistle rather than merely protecting a club legend.

Stop posting common sense instead of hysterical dribble. That nail has a sore head from where you hit it.
