Agree. I have seen him jogging after a player instead of running. His passing consists of kicking it high up in the air. I feel he has had a very poor year so far.

Yes we can, it was wrong. You are allowed to play on if you are behind your mark, in some cases even if you are in front of it, even if the angle is not what some over officious umpire wants you to be on. Ling described it as bizarre and there was unanimous agreement from the other commentators, most of whom are ex players. Our coach described it as bewildering and was furious. It was a momentum killer and in a close game where we were given 5 free kicks for the whole afternoon.

And there we have it. We also went too tall and destroyed our chance of stopping their run out of defence. Young, Seedsman, Williams, Heritier L and Langdon had a field day.

Pretty hard to argue with you on that. Good post. It is probably the same as saying we will win premierships.

Isn't the problem of baseball that there are 200 or so games a season. Who the hell wants to go to 100 home games a year? Maybe that explains the empty seats.

You gotta love the holding the ball rule, when the opposition are actually in possession under a pack, or the ball is loose and yet you get pinged. Absolutely ridiculous. The umpires just guess and usually go with the stronger club.

Agree. My son was saying this on the way to the game. He was scared that their back flankers would just scoop up the crumbs and continually set up their forwards. That is what they did time and time again. Selection of the team probably started the rot.

Let me say this unequivocally, the umpires didn't cost us the game, but boy are they bad. I am sick of the big clubs getting all the soft ones.

He made a simple point Nasher. That after our first goal some 23 seconds in, in the rest of the game we only managed 2 more. I think we all understand what he meant.

Can't see MM being dumped with a year to go on his 3 year contract. He is still a big name in the game and Carlton would absolutely cop it. Not being reappointed is a different kettle of fish.
