Pretty obvious when Prendergast the players CEO says FA is needed so that "players can get to the successful clubs".

Sorry to talk footy here guys, but I heard Ian Prendergast the Player's CEO, on radio this morning say, that Free Agency was needed and was good as how else would players get to the better clubs so that they could play in finals. I thought that was a pretty pathetic comment, but at least honest and shows the real agenda behind FA. Free Agency has nothing to do with equalisation, it is solely about players leaving the weaker clubs for the stronger ones. It will help to destroy the game.

There own internal report tells us how bad they have been and they accepted it. Things have now changed, because players are facing ASADA sanctions and all of a sudden no one has done anything wrong at all.

Ok here we go. I have just returned from the Gold Coast where I saw Gary Ablett and his girlfriend shopping. I was wearing a Demons cap and he smiled at me. Therefore he must be a certainty to be coming to us next year.

I have said this before, but I don't believe he has been delisted. If correct, he is still on our list.PS. His picture and number are still included on our list on the club site as well.

As I posted months ago after speaking to PJ, Roos has agreed to a third year as Coach. The building blocks of our revival are being put in place.

How good would it be to see Clark join Hogan and Dawes as the key forwards next year?

I have not given up hope of him playing with us again.

They are a funny side the Crows. They have a lot of dumpy looking Collingwood 6 footers but get the job done.

That is about 3 injections a week per player of a 40 list over a 20 week season and 20 week pre season approx. Approx 125 injections per player. That is a lot of injecting of unknown substances. No wonder Ziggy referred to it a pharmacological experiment completely out of control.

You can amend quickly to moderately fast.

We won't get a handy compo pick if we take Malceski as a FA? Remember what Byrnes did to our compo for losing Rivers and Moloney, he wiped it out.Evans would love to have a reason not to give us the pick after our first pick.

Purely and simply we have absolutely stuffed up our recruiting over the last several years. Last year under a new Coach and Recruiting Officer looks more promising and w have to hope that they get every pick and trade right from now on.It can turn around very quickly though as we have seen with our undermanned side improving dramatically defensively in just one year. Add Hogan and with improvement in Salem, Toumpas, JKH, Kent, Tyson, Riley etc and with a few more good picks and trades we can turn it around quickly.

Suns were terrible yesterday, it can't just be Ablett missing.

I must say having Roos in charge just gives me confidence he won't target crap recycled players. Also that because he is in charge we might be in a better position to land a decent player.

You might have a strategy but it can't be acted upon until you know the answer. You can't approach guys and say will you come to us if Chip leaves. You lose an opportunity to try out blokes you may need to before making a final decision on their future.All he needs to do is quietly tell Roos or PJ and a mystery injury will allow him to miss the last few games.

If we beat the Giants you can say goodbye to Petracca, probably the player we need most from the draft. It is believed he is the player GWS want above all others.Interesting to note the number of players like Cameron who have been put to bed by GWS for the rest of the season. Get my drift. It's called list management. I think we would also love Petracca. The Saints would probably go key forward like McCartin. So would the Lions.
