I see this as follows: At best, all Essendon and Hird could get is a declaration that the player interviews not be used as a basis for the Show Cause Notices, if they were done jointly. All other evidence that ASADA got from other people will stand. Don't forget that ASADA will have far more evidence than just player statements. ASADA cannot be stopped from redoing the Player Interviews if that is what is required. The Judge knows that will cause even more disruption. The process will continue and ASADA will take an even harder line with the players, because of thisCourt case, even though it is not of their doing. Personally given the evidence so far and submissions so far, I feel ASADA will win. The very people most affected with the SCN's are not even parties. The Judge noted that early on. They have, despite being invited to be Parties by the Judge, declined to do so. That hurts Essendon and Hird badly in this case IMO. -
Touted Number 1 early on. I wonder, if we finish 16th and assuming Chip goes and the Saints take McCartin and Petracca goes to the Giants, would you take him and then trade pick 4 for a couple of mids.

RIP. ROBIN WILLIAMS. A very funny man and unfortunately a very troubled one as well.

Still think the Saints will go tall. The problem is GWS. -

It's about admitting to wrongdoing, which can be used later by the players in claims. -

I am just smelling a rat. I could imagine the club Insurer telling them to stonewall and agree to nothing. If these blokes cop health issues in the future, who is the one wearing the claims that will follow, the Insurer. -

Luckily I have promised to babysit my 2 grand daughters. I will have to miss our 21st loss in a row , not counting practice matches, at the pleasure palace. -

I still think this whole thing has to do with the Insurer and claims that may come later. As for Hird I think he is painting the Board in a corner where they give him his $2m remaining on his 2 years as severance pay up front. What he is saying is that he has done nothing wrong and if it is anyone's fault it is the club's and that they coerced him into accepting some blame. He has driven the wedge in. -

My comment follows the poster's, when he says Lyons played a great game on the weekend. That means the Crows will be more likely to keep him. -

Hird's evidence today was Evans took a call and then told him AD said blah blah blah. Not a speaker phone. Not a meeting.Someone told me someone else said =Hearsay. How did Hird know that Evans actually spoke to AD? Evans could have been speaking to his girlfriend or bookie. Hird 's evidence is merely what he was told. Evans denies it. AD denies it. Both people in the alleged conversation deny it. End of story. -

Who said it was a speaker phone, not that it matters? Also I think Hird has said that Evans told him what AD allegedly said. Doesn't sound like a speaker phone then.
