  1. I can see scratches on her leg. Must have happened in a marking contest.
  2. Well that's good, now having seen his highlights I reckon we should take Brayshaw with 2 and if available Petracca, McCartin, Lever and Laverde with pick 3. Can we take 4 players with one pick?
  3. Either was our last recruiting manager.
  4. Especially with the contract that would go along with his rookie selection and the distinct possibility of no games played.
  5. Yes, I suppose I should change that to " the clubs that don't play well".
  6. I have just looked at the club site and Jetta appears with the senior list and only 2 boys, King and Harmes, appear as Rookies. So if he stays there, we at the moment only have spots for ND 2 and 3. If Tapscott is delisted that gives us pick 40, or PSD 2 or a DFA. We clearly need to free up some more spots.
  7. Who will have to be delisted? If it's Jetta I don't think he is on the senior list. If he is, someone then needs to be delisted and maybe another, for us to use our 4 picks. That is without a DFA or PSD 2.
  8. Where did you see that?
  9. Looks like the game in Ballarat against the Dogs won't be televised.
  10. If Tapscott goes we will have 4 picks. 7 have gone so far and 4 have joined. The Jetta upgrade will come in another way. Either LTI or a player going to the Rookie list.
  11. You would want to be playing the Bombers very early in the season.
  12. I hope they play well and you enjoy it.
  13. It is now looking likely that Jack could miss the entire 2015 season even if the operation is a success. One way or another, either by LTI or going onto the rookie list, it appears that the Jetta upgrade will come through Jack's spot on the list. It will take pressure off Jack while he recovers and he can still receive his full contract payment. By going onto the Rookie list he also allows the club to take another player. I don't buy the bit about loyalty, as keeping him, paying him and looking after him, while he recovers without extra pressure to play, is the repayment for his loyalty. Hopefully he returns to us playing good footy in the future, but a professional club IMO, would adopt my strategy.
  14. I hope they are all televised, especially as it is unlikely most will get to the first two games and the third, if we lose the first 2 games, could be completely meaningless. Then again some say the whole NAB Cup is meaningless, but they are usually the ones who aren't in the final.
  15. 30 inside a month. I can imagine the shock to Demonlanders after waiting so long, if we call out Brayshaw and Petracca/McCartin's names with picks 2 and 3. It would be so unexpected, I would be worried about the health of some of us.
  16. I am not a wine lover. No surprise there, from someone who drinks banana smoothies.
  17. Maybe Luke is away and unlike Malthouse, Roos might want to tell players he delists in person.
  18. Because your life is totally meaningless.
  19. If you analyse lists and drafting it seems that only a few players each year can become regulars of their club. There simply is not enough room for more than 22 each week. Given that each club has a core of players who make up their side each week, the stronger clubs probably have less room for new players than the weaker clubs whose sides are clearly not as good and have more holes. Therefore if a club like us drafts and trades in 8 new players in a year it would be reasonable to assume that only say half being 4 might become regulars at best. Therefore the other half or say 4 players could end up being judged as drafting or trading failures. Logically therefore in every trading or drafting group there would have to be what many of us would describe as failures. It might be more down to timing, injuries and other factors that also play a part in some players being seen as failures.
  20. You have said it many times.
