  1. Bananas become rarer and the stock market crashes.
  2. He won't be risked and he won't be played with us, until he is fully fit and can show consistent form with Casey.
  3. I hope we are at the stage, where Prestia if we get him, is icing on the cake, rather than a main ingredient. That would probably enhance our chances of getting him anyway. More importantly for me, Jesse, please sign a long extended contract with us.
  4. An AFL recruiter said that he thought ANB could be a real steal for us and that he thought he could be a top footballer. Only on what I have seen so far, I far prefer Stretch of the two and haven't yet seen what the recruiter saw in ANB. He is not big and not overly fast. However, he has time on his side to show us what he has got. I hope the recruiter was right. Oliver to me just seems a see it, get it footballer. As someone said, hopefully he becomes our Ollie.
  5. We can only hope.
  6. Wouldn't it be great, if our midfield improved to the extent, where we didn't care less about whether we get Prestia or not?
  7. I have never got into Mango smoothies. Don't mind a mango juice, but not as a smoothie.
  8. I have just started my annual fitness kick, to get my body in shape for the coming season. It hasn't worked for the last several years, but you can only try. The diet will kick in too. I will have my banana smoothies made with skinny milk from now on. May have to give up on the banana splits and sundaes though.
  9. Good to see so many of you treating the banana with the respect it deserves.
  10. There is only 17 left from when Roos started, 2 years ago.
  11. And if his knee is stuffed?
  12. Agree. It was a sad day for Bails and an even sadder one for the club, that really let him down.
  13. Yes, correct title was GM of FO, but it was Anderson.
  14. Would you take his word for it, we both work at the same place? No, I haven't spoken to him about it. It was widely known in the industry, by people I have spoken to, that Demetriou was furious that he was being embarrassed by the inquiry, that went against his oft quoted public comments, that what was done by us and other clubs, was within the rules. He was overseas when Andersen launched the inquiry. On his return he was bombarded by the media, as to how something he said was legal, was now the subject of an inquiry. Do you recall soon after the inquiry was over and the media savaged the result, that Andersen just suddenly left the AFL and on his own admission, had no job lined up. Do you think that was strange? IMO he was allowed to leave by Demetriou, before he was sacked. Other than what people who should know have told me, I don't have a signed confession.
  15. IMO, 2 years suspension from now, would be an impossible penalty to hand down. Given the course of this saga, that won't happen.
  16. He might make a few on here eat their words.
  17. That has always been my view.
  18. The funny thing, though it isn't actually funny, is that the three blokes who badgered a reluctant McLean, on the show, to say we tanked, which he refused to do, were a past MFC player, an MFC supporter and the current MFC Coach. Then an over zealous, AFL Football CEO, against the obvious wishes of his boss, who was on leave, started the inquiry into the MFC and tanking. That Inquiry, cost the AFL Football CEO his job, the MFC CEO and Footy Manager their jobs and Dean Bailey being left scarred unfairly. All the while, people in the industry, were saying their club tanked and other clubs were admitting they had done the same thing as the MFC and that it was unfair what was happening to the MFC. IMO the inquiry and its aftermath, were worse than the thing it was investigating. A method of deriving a result, that was initiated by the AFL, in rewarding the bottom side and always condoned by its CEO as within the rules. BTW, remember when you all salivate over Jesse Hogan, that he is ours as a result of that period.
  19. Makes me more than a "touch" angry.

  21. Have I missed something? I thought the CAS case involved a WADA Appeal on the 34 Bomber Players. Where and by who, has Goodwin been charged, putting his position at risk?
  22. Had a great banana smoothie at Little Oak, in Waverley Road East Malvern, this morning. I feel uplifted.
  23. Yes we grow on you, on this thread. We sort of cluster together like a bunch of bananas.
  24. Look again at his face and hair.
