What needs to be stopped is Danger's run from the clearance. It is a killer. If he can be tackled hard when he gets possession, that will cut his effectiveness. His run and carry and then give into the forward 50, is lethal and if we stop that, or reduce it, we are a chance.

Maybe he can be rookied, to give us space for another player and give him the time to get back to his best. There are always opportunities to upgrade rookies. I wouldn't like to see Grimes and JT leave in the same year. Grimes will clearly leave.

Like some others on DL, I am still not sold on him, but he could be useful with that long left foot kick. However, I am a real fan of Taylor and trust him to find us a gem.

Roos is correct. Jayden is among the best 5 young Rising Star category players in the AFL, but has not got a Nomination. I would think, as long as no other unnominated player blitzes, Hunt with a fairly good game, could get the nod.

Trengove could be a real footy career disaster story. Recruited number 2 in his draft. First couple of years very good. Made Co-Captain of a very ordinary side. Gets a severe foot injury. Misses two years of footy. His limited pace takes another hit. Struggles to make a much improved side on his return. Decision to be made at season's end as to whether he is given another contract. Very sad for a talented and loyal player.

Like every year at season's end, there will be plenty of disappointed players in the AFL.

Disagree. Everyone has the right to call time on their career, what they don't have, is the right to keep going until they have had enough. Players can't decide List Management. However, in Harvey's case, his form deserves another year. On that basis he has been hard done by.

I think that could be the case.

Can I suggest we show a bit of respect to our players and don't slag off at them. Surely we can discuss someone leaving or a trade, without rubbishing a guy.
