I think the experts will all change their tips for Wooden spooners, to Saints or us and then next week, to the loser of that game.

This club is cursed: Clark on extended leave from the club. Dawes a slight calf strain and out for who knows how long. Hogan a stress issue in the back, same as Dawes. Viney injured last year, concussed today. Our best backman Garland out injured. Star players in the past cruelled by injury and their careers curtailed, naming just one, Jakovich. The only club done for tanking, with a finding of no tanking. Poor drafting, over and over again. Instability with Coaching, Board and Administration, etc, etc, etc.

Well, the changing landscape of football. 3 Interstate sides have won so far. Hopefully Port make it a clean sweep for the weekend. Don't be upset, this is what the AFL want. It has become so much harder for us to rise up the ladder. We could improve and still finish bottom.

Accepted. In true AFL spirit, 50% of your 10 minute ban will be suspended.

Just watched Roos speech at the season launch. He is very good. He is a leader of men.

Who!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are banned for 10 minutes. Don't repeat your offence. Wash your mouth out with banana soap.

You aren't, but injuries certainly are. Clark taking a break. Viney concussed today. Dawes a one week injury possibly stretching to 5-6 or more. Hogan, who knows? Garland, 1, 2, 3, 4 weeks or more?

We have taken a pounding over the last few years with injuries. It is far worse when you are not a great side like us.

Looking like we will have no forward line again for the first few games.

Had a blood test today. They struggled to find blood supply. Jabbed me in the elbow, on the hand and finally succeeded on my wrist. 3 bandages made me looked like I was stabbed. Don't think I would be a good target for a vampire.

Unbelievable. Killer spiders have been found in bananas. Picture on the Yahoo site.

Another sad day for this club. Have passed on my thoughts on the other thread. This club, together obviously with their families and friends, has lost fine men in Dean Bailey, Jimmy Stynes, Sean Wight, Stewart Spencer, Peter Szental and some others who I can't recall ATM, in the last few years. Neale Daniher is also not well and it all adds to the difficult and sad times the club has faced over the last few years in a very human way.
