I'm not overly fussed if we win or lose tonight, but I'd like to see some consistent effort. You can have effort even if your 8 goals down.

Hopefully the boys that run on to the park tonight, don't have the same thoughts. Every game is winnable.

Have a look at the power forwards who have almost singlehandedly carried their clubs to premeirships in recent years. Carey, Brown, Tredrea....... Watts is the one for the Demons.

I think you'll find that Dennis Cometti is Freo, following on from East Freo. Bruce is Adelaide, and Craig Hutchison is a Geelong supporter.

I wouldn't even bother looking at Essendon. They are in the same boat as us, so why pick up a player that they think won't be in their next premiership side? A player I'd move heaven and earth for, a young Victorian, Steven Salopek.
