  1. got mine last night and looks awesome....

'cept for the fact that it's red with GREY writing, rather than red with WHITE writing...

    anyone else had this issue?

tried called pistol clothing but cant get in touch with them at the moment

    had the same issue

  2. Yeah don't look to bad won't know until after a few washes and a bit of wear. But need to highlight they are pretty true to size as I normally buy an extra large these days cause they all seem to be a slim fit or a bit smaller than the traditional sizes. The xl I got was huge!

Agree, got mine today - went large for safety, normally medium. Will be a bit baggy but much prefer that to tight.

    Cheers CB

  3. As I posted in another thread I thought Watts looked a little frightened on Sunday (along with maric). He likes to contest marks from behind where he is not going to get the body contact and he skirted around a few contests where he was required to get involved. At 92kg he should be starting to get involved more.

He has a great upside skills wise ,however if he doesn't find the courage when he matures a bit then he will never fulfill his potential.I think this season bailey should pick him on form and not potential.

Also heard from a reliable source that he has been told to pull his head in by coaching staff re partying.

This is light for his frame - buddy has 10kg on him at the same height for example.

  4. They flushed you out though. And they are inane. I've decided to post at the level that know prevails on this once readable site.

I thought it may have been your collingwood buddy commandeering your account again

  5. Great work - i'd buy one of either designs. Agree with those who say that the 1st design has the most charm due to the air jordan connotations etc

In terms of copy right, im not expert in the matter but there are plenty of shirts sold in shops like "crazy Tee's" etc which are parodies of popular brands etc? Not sure if simialr shops exist in Vic, but they are around in Perth. My point is that these parody shirts that you see around and are sold in shops; Vaginamite (Vegemite), Nofriendo (nintendo) etc are basically the exact same logo as the well known brands, but they just change a few letters or words. I'd be interested to find out what loopholes they go through to presumably be able to print the shirts without copy right issues?

I have zero expertise however this may be the loophole you are interested in...

    COPYRIGHT ACT 1968 - SECT 41A

Fair dealing for purpose of parody or satire

A fair dealing with a literary, dramatic, musical or artistic work, or with an adaptation of a literary, dramatic or musical work, does not constitute an infringement of the copyright in the work if it is for the purpose of parody or satire.

    Copywrite Act.

  6. That's my concern - he doesn't attack the ball or the contest. It's difficult to change this and I only recall one Melbourne player really making a difference in his game in this area and that's James McDonald. After a few years playing an outside game he came out one season and changed his attack on the contest - unfortunately later on that year he did his knee but when he came back he continued on where he left off.

I think it's highly likely to change once he actually grows into his frame and has the added confidence in his body.

I have definitely seen glimpses of the potential that saw him go pick 1.

He won't be consistent until he matures, something that will frustrate those with unrealistic expectations.

I trust the club to make the decisions as to how that development is best nurtured.

I Will be interested to see if SD's inside info proves correct as it may give more of an insight into the club's thinking. It won't change anything regarding the reality that JW is going to take more time - I think we always knew that.

  7. Oh, hypotheticals?

    Fun...

He is an big investment and he required thatt investment because of his potential.

A potential that all reasonable people knew he couldn't get near until he was 22+.

He is a teenager and is starting to fill out.

James Frawley was nowhere a couple years ago, as was Colin Garland...

Posters who say "I will try to show patience" and then even before the next season starts begin their handwringing and whinging again, infuriate me.

You're not even showing patience with your ability to have more patience...

    +1 !!!

  8. I know people too, some say he's going, some say he's staying, some say he loves MFC, some says he doesn't, others that he wants to play for Richmond. Others say he'll sign today, some say he'll sign next month and others still that they heard from his best friend that he'll sign at the end of the year. Some didn't hear from his friend's and they now think that he's leaving. Still others believe he's a mercenary and should leave whilst some think his kicking is poor and it doesn't matter if he leaves. Some believe he is the next Chris Judd and if he leaves our Premiership hopes are in tatters whilst others think we're better off losing him and getting the compensation picks. One amongst us actually believes he is the messiah and that is why Kevin is chasing him so hard. Anyway I just hope Tom has a good day tomorrow.{and promptly resigns!)

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

    Hope he stays.

  9. Caro Wilson wrote in the Age today:

"Fevola's manager Alastair Lynch has ''handled'' the situation quite brilliantly. With Fevola's life and career spiralling out of control again after yet another bender he took the inspired decision to place the troubled star in a rehabilitation facility.

Alistair Lynch checked Fev into rehab.

You are easily impressed. Only when Fev hits rock bottom and takes the responsibility for his actions and actually demonstrates that he can be more functional person in the community.

Far be it from me to question the accuracy of CW, but from personal experience with a close friend, I have learnt that you cannot "check" anyone into rehab without their consent in this country. You certainly can't make them stay there against their will. In this case, I believe Fev must be a willing participant. I couldn't find the article you quoted.

  10. I agree Too C&B he who is without fault cast the first stone!

I just feel sad such a great talent has been wasted!

Hope he can gets his life in order for the first time!

Don't really blame the Lions they really in the end had no choice, it was a Voss based disaster.

God only knows why he thought it was worth all the trouble two years ago.

In the end it will probably cost him the job at the lions.

Because the "window was open" in Voss' mind. Can't help but think he'd still be on their list if that opinion hadn't changed...

Thank god we didn't get Voss. How wrong was I with my strong advocacy of him to be our coach.

    Here here.

  11. What are the seats like in the Trident and Redlegs package? Redlegs has reserved seating on Level 2 of the Great Southern Stand while Trident has seating on either Level 2 of the Great Southern or Olympic Stand. Are they undercover and is one a better view ?

It does depend on availability a bit IE people hang on to the good ones...check with the club as to what seats are available.

You can get wet in either stand depending on the seats, I think Sthn has more undercover (from memory only - again check with the club).

You get bird's-eye of the interchange in Olympic, but you don't have the social club, so will be fraternising with the opposition and at night games and drinking light beer.

My group (all tridents) gave the Olympic a go when it was re-done, but moved back to the southern. (Edit: Level 2)

  12. No I don't think you do know what the thread is about - I'll give it one more try with a different tack - you like to have a VB with your counter lunch, it's just not the same without it and you've just got to have it. But things have changed at the pub and you can't just buy a pot - you have to buy a six pack and you can't take it home with you and what's more it's going to cost $40. Still got to have that VB?

As the OP i reckon he probably does know what thread is about...

Interesting analogy - I'm off to the pub.
