  1. Can not stand the bald nugget on the panel. She was spot on then too
  2. Coming up now
  3. The only positive of a split round with 3 games next weekend (besides the fact I can watch some Rugby Union!!) is the fact the mighty Dee's will get plenty of TV time in the numerous football related shows over the weekend. I have everything crossed that we get a win up so I can watch them all with a huge sense of joy!!!
  4. The fashion industry is full of what kind of "real gentlemen".... really gentlemen...
  5. Lots of space....
  6. I really like the stadium itself, think it is a great place to watch footy. Mate of mine bought me a ticket to the Saints v North game last weekend, once the game kicked off the lower level behind the Flinders st end was pretty empty so they opened it up to Gen Ad people standing. But yes agree the added costs that these ticket agencies charge is horrendous even when you print the ticket off yourself, what kind of fing admin fee is associated with that????
  7. And some of the most skilled players you'll ever see... Didak, Davis and for the day the member (Dick) was alluring too..
  8. Roosty I've have read this view on here a bit question is will he be around by the time our younger fwds mature to allow himself to be the 3rd fwd?
  9. I do love the J-Riv and his marking capabilites especially when running with the flight but I really noticed it for the first time against the Pies he was burned off on the lead from Cloke easily. I think with another off season injury free he has the chance to improve his pace again but at the mintue I think it is nail... head.
  10. Mate how is Liddle coming along? He started in the Ressies but then played a few in the 1's with a few of the MFC guys not around but looks to have dropped right off the radar in the maggo's again. Any news on how he is progressing on his Davey scholarship?
  11. As much as I am disappointed for us I am happy for the game. Ryder should not have even been looked at, it was in play, not head high, not reckless. It was a fair bump that we should be promoting back into the game not out of it.
  12. Virtually makes the "point" system they assign to incidents irrelevant.
  13. Oh you're such a tease RB!! Keep talking though, it is music to our desperate forward starved, special player lacking ears!!! I love the attitude and look forward to seeing it propel him into the side and to hold his spot then smash the daylights out of teams for years to come. Go the Warrior...
  14. Had a chat about this at footy training last night and thought a similar thing about how the hell can Gardner only get a 2 week/1 week with an early plea who's contact was high, late, and out of the play. They obviously use how hurt the player is hit as a guide to how many weeks which is ridiculous. Bit harsh on the north kid. I was at the North Saints game and saw it. King is a massive unit ruckman and the North player is a mid sized player who was completely unaware of the hit coming. The russian is a [censored] unit himself and the hit was nowhere near as hard.
  15. ??? He is bigger than Valent's from the two games I saw earlier in the season. Besides that great to see, he really looked like he wanted it early so it is good to see he is progressing further.
  16. Magic, your out of the closet loud and proud!
  17. One week I think yes, one week I think no... I look at our young players and think gee wizz how come they do not seem to be progressing at a rate of some of the younger players of other clubs but on the flip side they are playing for the worst side in the comp and will take longer than young players at clubs like Hawks, Pies, well pretty much most clubs with a good backbone of older skilled players we just don't have.
  18. I'm off work for two weeks with a hand injury sustained playing footy and need to do something besides hang out here. Anyone got some good moves/DVD's you have seen recently, not really worried about genre's just something that you liked I can have a squizz at. WOuld be much appreciated!!!
  19. THE BRONX, Hatebreed, Terror, System of a Down, Blood for Blood, Gallows, Downset, Kanye West, Johnny Cash, Matisyahu, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Wu Tang Clan, TZU, The Herd, Butterfingers, Hilltop Hoods, Bliss n Eso, Cut Copy, GreensKeepers etc etc etc
  20. .... Deaf, blind and I think I know who is the dumb one... He is currently banned from both Dees fan sites..
  21. We agree on this one Hang... One of the things I get so p*ed off about in todays footy is the total lack of sheperds/blocking off the ball. I don't know how many times I see in games 2 or 3 players running next the ball carrier calling for hands off instead of looking around for someone to block to allow the ball carrier time to find a target, and this especially irks me when watching the Dee's we always do it and it generally leads to a turn over. GGGrrrrrrr I know the game has moved on but for goodness sakes it is a fundemental of our game that we need to really push with our team as it does give the ball carrier that extra 3/4/5 steps to find a target and I think we all know from what we have seen over the last 2 seasons our boys need all of the time in the world to find a fwd target.
  22. Sorry Hang not trying to get stuck into you but I just don't agree. Old Fatso Dew at Hwathorn is not one of there hard blokes he is a skilled, penetrating kick and rarely puts pressure on opposition when they don't have the ball, when they do have the ball he then puts them under pressure with his kicking. The Hawks have the likes of Lewis, Brown and Hodge who are the hard nuts. We have Jones, Moloney, McLean, Miller who are big strong bodies but they are not up to applying the pressure needed at AFL level now days. To slow, not the correct smarts, can't hurt teams on the turn over with foot skills or scoreboard pressure etc etc.
  23. They did have it up on the screen numerous times but it said something about corner of light way and nowhere st but did not actually mention where the streets were. I could not hear the annoucements during the game and I was right behind the punt road goals so had no idead were the after function was.
  24. I have not said anything about any player being sacked at seasons end, I mentioned that the players people keep putting up the club would not get a return on. While I see what you're saying who would trade for Bell, it's is beyond me.
  25. I still remain confused as to why posters think we have any value at the trade table besides the kids under 24. I can only think of Davey and by a stretch on his current form Sylvia as having trade potential. Players like Green, Bruce are two old and would be used by clubs for a final title at a flag but we see this less and less these days (Sydney are really the only side that look to trade to keep them from bottoming out, not sure how long it will take for the bottom to drop out of there list though with so many players in the late 20's early 30's on there list). Players like Newton, Dunn, Bell etc are struggling for a game in the bottom team in the comp and have shown nothing for most of there careers, why would other teams want them especially with tis being the last season for a long while with a "clean" draft?????? Boggles mind.. mine.
