ggaaahhhh I hate being at work, another OT game!!! Come on Rangers, I don't really support Dev's or Rangers but would love to see them playing off in conference finals even though the Flyers look the better team than Devs.

Yup but it is a 4 qtr game BD. I just think it is amazing that we are discussing how well Dunn played collecting 4 touches ALL game. Anyway each to their own I guess.

RMax if Davey; our highest paid player (and Watts to an extent) and one of our elder statesmen needs help from Dunn (the ultimate soft on) from being "bullied" by the backline of Easton Wood, Bob Murphy, Mark Austin and Roughead then we are worse off than I thought. Nailed Dunn.... give it a spell Dunn has a habit of getting in someones grill, when they retaliate he drops like a stone even if he is hardly touched.

Right so the other sides players can read the tap as it goes to the feet and get 1st, quick, clean use of it but ours can't... and it is Jamar's fault?

I know I know give it time Neeldy is working it for the long term but am just amazed the MFC players are so under skilled/under developed for todays footy/under prepared/not switched on enough/have not turned up/been badly developed/so poorly drafted/do not want it enough etc etc. but just when I thought I had seen it all buuupp boowww it happens again.

I wish our midfielders as a collective had the ability to squeeze out handball after handball that gives us time and a little space. We just always seem to be unable to get that quick, spacing, shooting ball out which puts us under pressure where as watching the so many other sides bang bang bang/handball handball handball space/everyone spreads and away they go.

Loving what I have seen so far, was hoping the Pens got up but the Flyers hit them hard and Giroux was huge. I lived in Colorado for a couple of years and was there when they won the cup with Sakic, Roy etc but don't really have a team but think this is the best hockey I have seen. Quick question that has always stumped me, espcially with the concussion issues of late, but why so they wear what are seamingly such flimsy hats? They have some huge guys (Canucks have 2 guys on there roster under 6ft, the Rangers have 3 fwds 6ft 5+ including a 6ft 8 guy) skating extremely fast in a confined space on a bloody hard surface yet the hats look like they give no protection at all. Always wondered why. ps have no idea who will win the finals but bring on more of the great hockey!

Col had a club imposed suspension for not being "elite".... hhhmmm I think the entire side may have some suspensions coming up by that measure

He was to be suspended for 1 match, he was injured previous rounds and had not served his punishment. Punishment served, let's move onwards and upwards!

If Dunn focussed on getting a kick as much as he does at play acting and diving for free kicks he might be a player. I do not like seeing him in an MFC jumper.

Todays paper has a fair run down, basically Freo took a shot in the dark as they had Harvs coming out of contract the same time as Lyon. Freo didn't think they could get much further with Harvs so they rang Lyon to see if he might be keen to come over after this season. Lyon said lets wait til end of season and I'll have another chat. 'Aints lost in Elimination final so Freo called again, Lyon raised the get out clause, Freo threw bucket loads of money at him, as he was in need of money he took the Freo offer along with the massive resources they promised him. The bit that is ugly is the fact his management had given a verbal acknowledgement Lyon had agreed to a new contract, but then backed out of it. If it is not sign it is not signed

Fair go I think we have been down this path on Lyon. I don't think anyone knew he was available as he still had 1 year to run on his contract with the 'Aints, he walked out on it.

That is one thing you see if we push back off the mark but then either have no options or poor skills to move the ball quickly thus looking slow. Outside speed is good if you use it (even if we had any outside speed) would we be using ie would players be running past for the hand off or is the plan to sit and wait for an option if not hoof it down the line to form a contest.
