Just reading some. articles on this, this morning. Scott saying the call was made to axe the 4 to give younger players more opportunities. I don't get that especially after seeing the failure of the MFC plan to "get games" into players. If the younger players are good enough they naturally force the changing of the guard don't they? AliirAliir is an example of that.

I think he is a good role model for younger players. Unfortunately he can't perform at an AFL level on any kind of above average level let alone at a high level. Good luck to him in the future.

Mate it's not about proving people wrong, it's about proving he can play the game with any kind of pace. Has done an amazing job in working to get back and play any footy let alone at a high level at VFL. Can he do it at AFL any more?

They are all going around again at Hawks next year too. Hodge, Gibbo, Burgoyne, Mitchell and Lewis... Big big cliff is coming.

Harvey, I want to win now, Hunt took a couple of years to develop into the potential he is showing now.

Harvey ave 21 disposals a game vs 16 from Kent just as example. Harvey is a more skilful player with ball in hand and makes better descisions than Kento. The way I see it if any player, if they come in for 1 or 10 years, if they improve our chance of winning then let's do it. I think we get hung up on "potential" and "upside" and still "getting games" into players. My thoughts any way.

If it means we win more games and play finals and he is in best 22, so be it. I'd take him, he'd be 3rd in our goal kicking this year. (I know it is this year and he may fall off a cliff etc).

Yea it was odd wasn't it. Totally flat but also seems totally surprised by Carlton being very aggressive before the bounce. We still have the issue of not being able to change the course of a game, we don't have anyone yet who can do so. If we are in the game and in front we can keep driving but when flat it's a different story. This should change as the younger "guns" grow into the game... We hope.
