Jeesus give him a chance once fit, if he can get a game. He's 1 week back after 2 injuries at once and sits behind one of the best ruckman in the comp. The FD obviously want fully fit players rather than "someone tall", happy to stick with that choice. Horses for courses has been rolled out few times this week. Malarkey, the team the FD believes will give us best chance to win is selected each week.

It was in the context of my response, but yes hopefully Peds will be an even better asset once he can move to fwd line full time. He finally looks like penny has dropped after the ultimatum preseason. Hopefully he stays focussed from here on, it has been enjoyable to see him compete.

Roughhead and Boyd, I think this week will be the biggest thrashing we will have in the ruck without Gawn and Spenc. It all depends on us winning at the fall of the ball, like most weeks since they have gone down. Peds might start but Tmac will spend a lot of time in the ruck this week.

Dangerflop drives me nuts for some reason. Gun, brilliant but a bloody diver/stager/flopper of the highest order and NEVER gets called out for it. And here he is on the half time show. On 0 exposed form this season for BK, ridiculous statement as per usual. ANB has been a good solider after a slow start to season. Harmes has been in and out but until BK can get a run in the 1s no idea how you make a call like that.

Have said it in other threads but yea I don't get this mindset. Off a bye, played 1 game with a 6 day break. Fine we may have sore/injuries/better players available but should be no issue this week. Next 2 weeks it starts to wear a bit but again full time players, full time fitness staff. I don't recall Hawks, Swans, Cats resting star players, bottom 6 or mid tier players but otherwise best players at coal face. Haven't seen selection so may be proven wrong.
