Madness, he still denies taking anything but he is not going to arbitration with the USADA. The UCI was backing his legal defence against the USADA's authority in the matter. The USADA was set up to find drug cheats, Lance says no physical evidence has been presented but the USADA states it has blood samples from 09/10 fully consistent with blood doping and 10 witnesses ready to testify. Just a sad situation all round. Livestrong huh....

Great effort by Sky and Wiggins they looked comfortable from the get go and never looked under any pressure, besides Froome and Wiggins. Cadel just looked like he was under done and so much for his stronger team this year. Here's hoping Cadel comes back bigger and stronger next year.

Gah had not even thought of that, don't want to jump to conclusions but gee wizz it is so disheartening to see another high profile rider get "caught". In saying that i just saw this in a SI article: "The diuretic is classified as a specified substance and does not require a provisional suspension. The World Anti-Doping Agency defines specified substances as those that are "more susceptible to a credible, nondoping explanation." Bans for such substances are often shorter, and athletes have a better chance of proving they did not intend to consume it or enhance their performance." Wouldn't it be amazing if Froome just said hang it I'm going to try and win it and left Wiggins for dead..... Not going to happen but that is all thgere is to hope for now Cadel looks long gone. Nothing but respect for Cadel and all the riders, what an amazing event!

Was going to give it a miss tonight but good lord I can't wait to see this stage, 1st big mountain stage of the tour. Who will crack, can Cadel make Wiggins fall apart or push him on a decent too far. How will Froome go trying to push Cadel to the edge??

CYCLING
Yup wow dominated dominated DOMINATED. Didn't think Cadel would have pulled up that far behind but as he said his TT was not too bad it was just the other two were phenominal! Don't see any way Cadel can come back from so far down with Sky, Wiggins and Froome doing it so comfortably. He will struggle to stay in 2nd from the looks of things. Love to see him really put some acid on in the next mountain stage to see how those 2 pulled up from the TT and give them a scare to see how they react... Come on CADEL!

Hhhmmm same as I know virtually 0 about the sport but it looks like Wiggins is just covering Evans in any stage and waiting for the time trials to put more time on him. Evans will really need some big efforts over them thar' hills to win this one. Again this race just highlights what an amazing rider Evans is, as soon as it gets a little vertical he is on his own where as Wiggins and in pervious years teams have attacked him while he is on his own. Champion.

Did see the doco and loved it. Confirmed even further what an epic EPIC effort it was from Evans last year. Seeing the 2 Shleck's working together to try and break him, that stage where Andy got away and was up by i think 4 mins but for Evans to fight back to bring it down to 2 mins was AMAZING! Yea that was interesting to see, the Sky team is solely looking for a Wiggins Tour win so to see that on day 1, but in saying that it is a 3 weeks race so it could go either way for Wigg. Cav what a freak!

Syd 12 yr contract... I'm sure it is full of step clauses and potential buy outs before the 12 yrs is over but wow. "The Penguins and their superstar center agreed to a 12-year, $104.4 million contract Thursday that will keep Sid the Kid in a black sweater until he's Sid the Old Man."
