Good teams find a way. Another great test for us against the flat track bullies over in the west. Big outs for both sides, can Gawn contribute enough to even out the loss of Jones and Watts. Watts is such a key, kicks goals, sets them, is an outlet, can head back and stop goals, drive the ball out of defence and go into the ruck.

We're a win now mode aren't we? Ie in finals contention, good teams rarely rest best players, they tend to play through if sore. I think it will be up to how Watts pulls up as Goody said scan was clear.

Another week and again confused about this idea of resting players in anticipation of next weeks game. We've just come off a "long" break and only played 2 games. Each week is about winning, not thinking about the week after. Best team plays at all times, unless you are "rebuilding", form, have injuries or have better players coming back from injury.

What did we give up for him again... bargain! Again plenty on here thought he was a dud. I think (think... because I know one day I'll say something silly about a player) I've learnt to hold back on under rating players early on or even medium term.

The other thing the weekend may have thrown up (and ive defended Spenc) is with Macca doing a decent job in the ruck does it potentially push Spenc even further down the pecking order? PS stuie isn't the only one who had other ahead of Peds, and in saying that Peds did need the kick in the pants to reach his current level. Peds will be hard to leave out from here in, great problem for coaches to have.
