I am hoping that someone can assist me here. I am looking for 1996 Melbourne games in full, on either vhs or dvd. Trying to assist a friend of mine who is trying to collect every single game in 96.

We are aware that name a game/sports delivered would have a lot of games for season 1996, however, my mate would rather trade footage - he has a lot, than pay name a game big $$$

I am a vfl/afl video collector, been trying to collect every televised home and away game, for all teams, in full, for the years 1982-1992.

Recently, i have been trying to upgrade my replays i have of games to full games where possible, and as such, i am looking for full Melbourne games of the following:

1990 r7 v West Coast at MCG

1990 R9 V Hawthorn at VFL Park

1990 r11 v Carlton at MCG

1990 R12 V Footscray at Western Oval

1990 r13 v st kilda at MCG

1991 R18 V St Kilda at Moorabbin

1991 r19 v Carlton at Princes Park

1991 r23 v Footscray at Western Oval

Please note that all of these games were televised by ch 7, yet none of these games are available to be purchased through name a game/sports delivered.

If you think you can possibly assist me here with any of these games, then i would really love to hear from you.

Does anyone remember the publication by Harry Beitzel called Footy Week 1987? It was a color newspaper, which only lasted 1 season - 1987.

It used to be a black and white newspaper in the late 1960's and early 1970's.

I am trying to collect a full set of Footy Week 1987.

If anyone can assist me at all, then i would really love to hear from you

I am a vfl/afl video collector, trying to collect a copy of every single televised home and away game, for all teams, for the era of 1982-1992. I need just 30 more games to go.

Amongst the 30 games i need, are just 4 Melbourne games between 1982-1984 only.

Would anyone on here have any old replays taped in those years, where you still have the tapes?

I know its a longshot, but i have tried everything: Name a game/sports delivered, ch 2, ch 7, vfl, afl, the competing clubs, youtube, ebay, torrents, facebook etc.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

hoping that someone on here maybe able to assist me.

i am searching for replays of 2 melbourne games from season 1984,

r4 v essendon at vfl park - won by essendon 17.24.126 to 14.7.91

r9 v footscray at vfl park - won by melbourne, 23.21.159 to 11.15.81

both games were televised, the r4 game by both 2 and 7, the round 9 by ch 2 only. I have contacted both tv stations concerned, and neither can assist me, i have also contacted the clubs involved, but they cannot help me. I have tried the afl, ebay, youtube, torrents etc.

i can transfer old vhs tapes to dvd if that helps at all, hoping that maybe someone has some old tapes somewhere from this era.

If anyone can assist me, i would greatly appreciate it.

I was 17yo.

I use to go to the footy every week with my Grandfather. Never saw my Grandfather cry except twice in the course of 4 weeks in 1987. The first where tears of joy when we beat the dogs at Western Oval to make the finals. This is still my most memorable game, I will never forget it, never forget everyone glued to the Hawks v Geelong game in the last quarter and the crowd cheering on each of the Hawks comeback goals. 4 weeks later the tears were flowing again when our great man Jimmy ran over the mark and Buck's kick truly from 40 meters. He was not going to make the distance when the siren went and he was lining up a torp from 55.

Ironically it was a Buck's after the siren goal against Geelong that got us into the finals, as it was a Buck's goal after the siren that kicked us out.

I have watched the preliminary final replay dozens of times, I am still not sure how we managed to lose.

It was Jason Dunstall who kicked the goal to put the hawks ahead at the 29 minute mark of the last qtr, he kicked the last 2 goals of the game, not Gary Buckenara

Does he have Melbourne v North and Melbourne v South (Sydney) from the '87 finals series?

why?

a mate of mine needs it, he collects old games like i do, but his collection goes to the end of season 1995, mine goes to the end of season 1990, its the only televised melbourne game he needs from 1985 to 1995, he has the rest of them.

i am looking for a copy of 1995 r7 Melbourne v Brisbane bears played at mcg. It was a sunday game, and was Melbournes first victory of the year, 12.10.82 to 10.15.75.

Channel 7 did a 1 hour replay at 5pm on the sunday.

I have already contacted name a game/sports delivered, ch 7, the club, the afl, tried youtube and various torrents sites, no luck.

Does anyone have this game, and if so, can they do me a copy? i have plenty of old melbourne games from the 1980s to early 90s to offer as a swap.

i am aware the name a game have them, but i don't want to spend 200 dollars if i can avoid it. I am happy to pay someone on here some money for dvd copies of the necessary games, or i can try to make a suitable swap.

I have been searching for a copy of the 1987 night series quarter final between Melbourne v Hawthorn, which Melbourne won by 29 pts.

I have contacted channel 7, the 2 clubs, name a game, afl video, and other forums but with no success, so i am wondering if anyone on here either has a copy of it, or knows of someone who does.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i am looking for the tv replays of the 1988 and 1989 victories over Hawthorn.

the 1988 game was r7 at the mcg, melbourne winning by 21 points 15.21.111 to 13.12.90.

the 1989 game was r11 at princes park on Queens birthday monday, Melbourne winning by 15 points 10.9.69 to 8.6.54

name a game/afl video cannot help me, so if anyone on here can help at all, pleas let me know.

I know that name a game have them both, but i have had bad dealings with them in the past, and would rather trade with somebody to get these games if possible. I already have the tv replays, but i am after the full game for each.
