I actually disagree on the AFL not having faith in its own product. If you attend any NFL / NBA game, there is constant noise playing throughout stoppages in the game, and in some cases, during the game. Both of those leagues are among the most profitable sporting leagues in the world, so much so that the AFL is at least a couple of zeros away in terms of valuation. This is the way that modern sport is moving I would argue that the 30-second song clip doesn't affect the experience of attending the game anyway. There is always music being played during the quarter-time breaks, and that is arguably when the most conversation is had. The music will just blend into the background after a couple of games, unless the supporters really get around a couple of players' songs.

For a 192cm young man, he certainly moves well. Placed 3rd in the agility test in the combine Definitely has the movement and defensive ability to play on both shorter and taller players He should make for an exciting tool that Kingy can use in defence, while also providing offence with his rebounding ability

Just something I have noticed from watching U18s compared to VFL If I were to give a reason, I would probably say it boils down to a couple of things; Players kick the ball longer, so there is both more space between forwards/defenders and midfielders, as well as it taking more time to get from contest to contest U18 players typically struggle to extract the ball from stoppage cleanly, so repeat stoppages build up the numbers around the ball Men's league is obviously a higher level of football, with aspiring AFL coaches being head coaches, so the player movement is more deliberate, so there tends to be less ball hunting/watching And probably a smaller reason, but sometimes U18 games are played on much smaller grounds (More relevant for rep highlights, not National Carnival)

I actually find his non-U18 SANFL highlights much more impressive, especially as it's against grown men. I think for some prospects, they play better in the Men's league because the U18s lack the space for them to go to work

If we are keen, I'd trade Pick 8 for West Coast's Pick 13 and a future 2nd round pick

Considering that GC don't need their picks, just the points that they hold If we aren't getting any players back, I could see a world where they pay overs on Trac to get him across. We could package up later picks with points (a couple of 2nd round picks from both Spargo and McVee) for them to trade us 3 first round picks. As far as I understand, GC already have enough points to match their academy players, so if we traded them a decent amount of points back, then they are on the way to getting Trac and their academy players. Just watched the 7News segment My take on this after watching this all unfold today (Probably should have been doing uni work haha), is that King told Clarry that he needs to adapt to his game style, and if he doesn't, then he's not guaranteed a spot in the team. Clarry has clearly not taken this well, and it's been reported that he stormed out of the meeting. I believe the club probably has a similar stance to Trac; they're happy for him to go if they get something back, which is why it's been reported that they are happy to pay some of his salary. The club probably knows there isn't a market if he stays on his current contract.

Yes, we don't have Nick Daicos, but I would argue that our young talent is a hell of a lot more promising than Collingwood's in 2022 (Bar Daicos) We also have a player in Harvey Langford who could definitely be joining Nick in the top 5 players in the comp for the next 10 years
