Why are you acting like the player should be telling random fans they're leaving? I don't blame him for lying, it is what he would be told to do by his manager.

I barely post on here so apologies for not knowing who that is. I don't think you'd have any egg on face either if he does leave, my point was all players wouldn't be telling random fans what their actual intention is if they know it'd upset the fans.

2022-2023 obviously had high expectations - 2024 I just wanted to be entertained, and that clearly didn't happen. I don't expect a flag, I don't even necessarily expect finals (Especially if we actually select young players rather than making them sub for two minutes a game). I just want to enjoy watching us, which I think plenty of MFC supporters would agree with.

Pardon? Absolutely not, have you been watching us play? Midfield has gotten much worse over the past few years and our gamestyle with a bunch of inside mids doesn't hold up in the modern game.

Realistically I'd like to see him traded because we simply can't make him/Viney/Petracca work in the middle anymore (We haven't really made that combo work for two years now). I get people are very attached to him and at his peak he was a top 5 player in the league, but the game has changed so much. Personally I'd like the club to cut their losses and move him on but it seems the club thinks clearly nothing is wrong with that midfield, and we'll likely pay dearly for that in the future.
