1000000000% this. The Petracca trade to GC is one of the biggest moves this offseason. IF THERE WAS EVEN THE INKLING OF BAILEY HUMPHREY SACKING HIS MANAGER OVER NOT DOING ENOUGH TO FACILITATE A TRADE HOME AS PART OF THE TRAC DEAL THEN THE MEDIA WOULD BE ALL OVER IT. Yet there is radio silence. I absolutely get that we all want these rumours to be true and we all thrive for any skerrit of intel thrown our way during trade period but I fear we are all being hoodwinked by random posters on here with absolutely zero credits in the bank. Will gladly eat humble pie if wrong but it is so unfair that people on here are being taken for a ride when there is absolutely no evidence of these wild rumours being talked about in the media.

I hope we haven't been spun some wild porky pies about secret meetings. If the media got wind of a meeting between the Dees and BH falling through they would be all over it like a bad rash. Radio silence. There probably never was a meeting. Can't wait for how our insiders are going to spin this one.

Where is the evidence? I love the intel from you and Demon Forever but the vultures in the media just are not circling and we know that they thrive on these things. If randoms truly have intel (not doubting you don't as you've been great in the past) are posting about these meetings on a forum why aren't the media getting wind of this. It just doesn't add up. I so want this to be true but the Morris and Edmunds and McClures of this world would be splashing whispers of these meetings all over their feeds if there was even a hint that they were going on and we've heard nothing.

This is my point. GC and the Media keep telling us Bailey Humphrey is not on the trade table but people keep talking about meetings going on where we may or may not be getting a commitment by the end of the day. If there was even any inkling of a "LINK", especially a huge LINK in the form of a meeting between the Dees and Bailey, the media would be all over it and not joining the Gold Coast in proclaiming that a trade is definitely off the table.

I reckon there are a lot of assistants who are excellent assistants who just can't cut it in the hot seat but can get the most out of the players in their line.

Really like this pick up. Can take a grab and kick a goal. A great foil for JVR. Will be a good onfield coach too. It will be interesting to see how we set up with our medium forwards in Fritsch, Melksham and now Mihocek.

10000% I completely understand the wishful thinking of many on here, especially with the unconfirmed reports (at least no reports in the media) that a meeting between Bailey and the Dees is happening today. But there has been very little coverage of any such meeting, and we all saw the storm that came from that private-eye-style photo of a walk around the Tan. There’s simply no buzz or hype in the media, who we know are vultures and desperate to churn out a clickbait headline, about any meeting with between the Dees and Bailey. I’m praying to the footy gods that we have a sniff, but I fear we’re hoping against hope. Be prepared to be disappointed.

I often hear Jimmy Bartel's name being thrown about in reference to overseeing Footy Departments. Can someone enlighten me as to what his credentials for this type of role are besides his illustrious career on the field? His name is always talked about like he has already had success in transforming a footy club.

I was going to raise this after the Saints game last week, but the same issue cropped up again in this match. What on earth is going on with the centre bounces at Marvel Stadium? To be fair, centre bounces have been deteriorating across all venues in recent years. It’s clear that the current crop of umpires just aren’t as proficient at the bounce, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we eventually see it scrapped altogether, or reserved only for the start of games and quarters. I don’t watch many non-Demons games and thankfully we don't play much at Marvel, so I haven’t been paying close attention to the games at this venue. Over the past two weeks at this venue, there have been a staggering number of recalled bounces. Is there something about the surface at this godforsaken stadium that’s contributing to the problem?

I have been super impressed with Harvey Langford all year and I thought that his foot skills yesterday were just superb. More drafting of kids with elite skills by foot please.
