I think Kozzy has become one of my favorite players for a long time, not just because of his talent, but i think he generates excitement within the supporter base like few have, I'm going back to the Wiz, Jurrah, Jako days. A player that when he gets within 20m of the ball you end up watching him as much as you watch teh play.

Kids love him, the players love him, the club love shim. I hop ewe do everything to keep him, i fear its going to be a battle, only because he has not signed yet, but that's pessimism only. I truly think if he decides to sign on, may only be 2 years, it would give that entire place a lift. He is that important in my opinion. I know that no one is bigger than the club and we would survive if he left, be compensated and all that, but culturally, i think he shapes as one of the biggest signatures to secure for a while.

Seriously cant wait for footy season now, out in straight sets should be a very sour taste in players mouths, windows dont stay open forever, we have to bounce back strong, and i am certain we will.

Yep. I think JJ has on ball capabilities as well as half back capabilities.  its nice depth and its where you want good ball users. Hunter is not quick, but he has football IQ. Its important.  Salem  / Bowey / Hibbered  /Hunter in that Back mix is good. Maybe we need some pace.. but.. move the ball well we will be quick enough.

if this is being spoken about this much at this stage.. its happening.

Now its up to JJ to get super fit and make the wing his own. I reckon Hunter might settle at HB.

He is experienced and a good player.. cant see the negatives to be honest.

I reckon Hunter isnt a bad option. These types of players are not long term options. they are come in and see if you can impact and help us win a flag. Might be 2 years.. might work, might not but its worth a try when we have lost some depth players (although all of them not good enough to make it IMO) its not bad to get a hardened body to have in the mix.

Some decisions that clubs make really make you think they dont quite get it. This is ridiculous and would be a backwards step.

The hold up on this is ridiculous. You telling me that if we had 25 it would be done, but we have 27 so its not getting done? 

Just give them Pick 27 and another pick later.. what sit matter.. we are taking 2 picks maybe 3 to the draft.

Well, its finally over. i dont expect many will be totally happy as its certainly not what we wanted, but it wasnt really our fault, in the end its what we do with the picks from here on end and that will determine if we did well. I fully expect for us to live trade on draft night if not still try and move further up.

As for Dogga, a life member, an historic premiership, a rising star and a good young fella who really gave everything. Here for a good time not a long time. Good luck to him. But from here on end, if you not with us, you are against us.

Freo with Jackson are going to be a top 4 team next year IMO 

The problem i see is that they cant offer much more, they simply dont have the picks and cant seem to find a team to trade with to get into the top 10. Id start looking at Players in this now. And id enquire about Liam Henry or Josh Treacy?

Exactley, no relevance in this at all. No one was swapping the picks for pick 14, we needed a pick in the mid 20s, and we were not using later picks. Journos are actually the worst. 

This is really becoming an sideshow and one that we are not going to get a great prize in. Time we all got our heads around, pick 13 and future First. There is no other way that this can happen. He isnt going to the Eagles.

The only way i can see this working is if we get pick 13 and next years first rounder, we then try and offload 13 for something in the top 10 with other picks thrown in.

I cant stand some of what Cornes says, but if he doesnt sign a contract early next year.. odd son he is right.

GWS just got picks 12 and 19 for Taranto. You can argue we wont get as good a deal as that for Jackson.

Correct. it will be one of the last to drop unfortunately.

Unless wce come to the party and split their pick 2 then we're getting unders. And even if they did, it would be something around say 7, 24 (F2) vs 13, 10 (I expect freo to fall next year). I don't think there's too much difference between those two offers. 

there is not zero chance, but it does appear unlikely. And he is not going to WCE. Just wont happen. This is why all along i have said this will be nearly the last deal done.

If we're happy with 13 and F1 straight up then I do think this deal will get done sooner rather than later. 

its not a deal worthy of a Pick 3, rising star that will get $800k a year for 6 years. There simply has to be a top 10 pick. a top 10 pick gives us the chance to split the pick as well
