  2. Nobody's going to argue with that analysis mate. His third quarter in the Granny was crucial. But you need to think of Gus as a human being, an elite athlete who has options. Think of Ed Langdon, mate. Really happy to embrace that wing role. Run a marathon every week, get a kick occasionally. Turn a game when you get that opportunity. While I have the microphone, can I say I thought Pickett's Granny was one of the best games I have seen him play? Hardly a possession and no goals, but what a game he played. Petracca's amazing dribble goal would not have happened if Kosi had not taken out Dunkley. Back to the topic, DubDee, can you not see why Angus would be considering his options? Brayshaw got nowhere near the Norm Smith in 2021. He was playing on a wing FCS !! In 2018, he got bloody close to the Brownlow. If people on here can't understand why Gus is looking at the next 5-6 years, they have rocks in their heads. More premiership opportunities at the Dees or a tilt at the Brownlow ?? I say again, we all want him to stay, but we need to respect the player and live with his decision. I am not ignoring other posts on this thread, but I am thinking Freo or the Saints for Angus.
