How many heartlands do we have?
Well the inner east, south/east would be our heartland
These are the suburbs that have the most Melbourne members from data released by the club that was published in the Herald Sun a few years ago. Caulfield racecourse is basically on the door step of Glen Iris, Malvern and Caulfield North.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but Caulfield racecourse could be an option.
Horse training it set to cease at the racecourse in 2023 and then redeveloped into a local sporting precinct.
Basically in the heartland of our supporter base, I think it could be good to have the club within the local sporting community of the area.

Finances aren't the only thing causing the AFL to drag their feet.
Tassie doesn't give them anything the don't already get. It doesn't grow the game. You could argue GC and GWS don't either, but they are at least in non-AFL states, so there is that argument.
People in Tassie will support a team, regardless of whether it's in Tassie or not.
Who cares about growing the game?
The people of Tasmania deserve to have a team to support and watch every week like we do.

Not many players on that list like to chase, tackle and apply pressure. that's my big concern. it's all well and good to look good on paper but if the team can't actually play the game plan Goodwin is trying to implement we won't improve much at all.
Spargo and Pickett as the pressure small forwards. Could do with another though. Harmes back to the forward line
