Melksham. What an absolute legend. Do we manage him week to week? He looked pretty sore late but he’s so important at making a contest.

Should be closer. Entertaining contest so far. One day Melksham will take mark of the century, blokes’s flying for everything 💪

Great story. I was fortunate enough to see the flag in Perth (live in the NT). When Melbourne played in Alice the next year they ran a kids clinic and mentioned they were bringing a special guest. It was the cup. They just put it on a table and my son and I got to hold it. I didn’t cry at the game (to much euphoria) but hugging that beautiful trophy was an emotional moment!

I know when I reflect on how to improve the match day experience the first thing I think of is more inane, loud and awful music to drown out the cheering. It’s such a wonderful way to engage with the fans who are desperate to be annoyed and distracted. More flashing lights, and more obnoxious sounds please!

He was critical to our premiership in 2021. Probably a good thing he’s retired for our culture though.

I think the top 18 teams should all play 22 or 23 ‘finals’ before the top 8 play each other in a ‘super finals’ series to determine the premier. So crazy it just might work…

I get why people don’t like us playing in Alice but to say the venue is non AFL standard is just ignorant. Have you ever been to the ground? Surface is immaculate and dimensions are fine. Yes, we seem to struggle and the atmosphere isn’t great, but Traeger Park isn’t the problem.

After the last game we deserve to be shipped off to Coober Pedy or Ceduna!
