Don't go too hard on Hoges. He has talent. Just doesn't mind a sook every now and then. (see early Jack Riewoldt). We have to get better at crisis moments. Flick a switch when we are in danger that finds a new level, not drops down to sleep mode. Cats, Hawks, Tiges all won flags because they got good at wartime moments, and finding a way to get a job done. I guess that's the kind of thing you learn at boot camp.
