  1. Not 100% sure what you mean. Could you please expand.
  2. Yeah we get it - but it’s not acceptable - no excuses. I would not like to count the cost this issue has cost the MFC in the past.
  3. I’m actually amazed we have so few “supporters” prepared to stand up for our players. I know for a fact if anybody had a crack at my two fav Tigers ie Cotch and Basha I would be happy to stand up for both of them - both aare quality players and quality people - I appreciate both.
  4. Plus what some ( note I said some ) MFC “supporters” said about Chris Dawes & Mark Neeld was disgusting - All because of a game. 100% hypocrites, but the AFL know who the “ring leaders are”.
  5. It’s all the same people, post here, post on Twitter, post on Big Footy etc etc etc good on the club is finally standing up for its players - well done MFC
  6. It’s only a matter of time before the AFLPA sues a “supporter” or a website over this type of behaviour.
  7. Well done Jake - some posters just don’t get it - they never will. The damage they are doing to their own players and their own club. Keyboard warriors negative individuals that post on nearly every thread - sad, sad, sad Jake can be on social media as a Crow BUT when he is a Demon the “haters” force him to leave. Some MFC fans need to hold their head in shame. But such is life - carry on I’m sure you will.
  8. Football is meant to bring us together - its meant to be a positive environment However, sadly many MFC "supporters" have very negative outlook - its all about their own anger & frustration with their OWN football club. I see the moderators in this community having to handle it 7 its normally the negative attacking the positive. Interestingly offline its not as bad, but it is creeping into games more and more for all clubs. Please note I used the term "many" not all - the MFC has a core of awesome supporters. We get it - the club has been so bad for so long MFC supporters have become the "laughing stock of the league." Not only does our club need to earn respect again, needs to learn to be trusted - but according to the AFL so do our supporters. However, I will say many of the problems we face so do other clubs.
  9. No. What the Tigers players do very well is understand “their role” - they are developed, drilled week in week out so it becomes instinctive. ironically the single toughest Tiger to get to understand this was ”Jumpin Jack” - but today he is the biggest advocate. Oh how things change.
  10. I agree with you - I thought we did quite well for just under 3 quarters. Then they ran over the top of us. Hopefully, it dispelled the idea that the Tigers won a premiership thanks to luck - there is no luck to winning a premiership. There is a formula to win a premiership- but such is life some people have the tools to be successful some people will never have those tools. Still think now Essendon assistant coach put it best 90% of us are going one way 10% are still today going the other way. Change for some is really difficult. 10% of our club is stuck in 1964 - and act like little children when we lose. People that want to speak positevly about the club are nothing more than “trolls” - such is life.
  11. I like what you said - but it’s very tough to keep the intensity up against the Tigers for 4 quarters. They are one of the fittest teams in the comp ( Port being their only equal) so don’t play to their strengths. IMHO you do the opposite and play tempo football upping and downing the rhythm of the game to suit us. Restricting their control of the football force them to come to us and weaken their defensive structures. Just a thought.
  12. Legacy is a charity providing services to Australian families suffering after the injury or death of a spouse or parent, during or after their defence force service. The MFC and supporters have a huge opportunity to make a difference, legacy does some amazing work. Huge thank-you must go to both MFC and RFC. http://www.legacy.com.au/
  13. Hahaha - classic internet paranoia / conspiracy theory - Made me chuckle here are more for you https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2017/oct/27/jk-rowling-doesnt-exist-conspiracy-theories-internet-cant-resist
  14. When Griggs goes into the ruck - depending on the scoreboard I don’t mind Harmes as an option and send Big Maxy forward - geez that would upset their defensive structures no end. IMHO last weeks one positive is plan B needs options both in front or behind the ball.
  15. Knew it was only a matter of time https://www.9news.com.au/national/2018/04/23/16/30/eddie-mcguire-fake-news-erectile-dysfunction-facebook Sounds like Eddie is out to sue somebody - wonder what Facebook will do. “McGuire said he believed Facebook had a "duty of care" Interesting!
  16. Good point - they will probably drop Conca or Ellis back but both are exploitable the other way.
  17. I’m happy we have nailed it to do our best to beat the Tigers - great job boys. Go Dees
  18. If Hunt, Stretch, Tyson & Weeds are our IN's - then I think we have nailed it. You must break down the defensive structures of the Tigers both in the air and on the ground. You must make them accountable man on man - again if these are our in's I like it. I think we match up well on the Tigers on a man to man basis. 3 sometimes forgotten players from the Tigers are Short, Houli & Valastuin - you must restrict their ball movement out the backline. Then you also must isolate Rance & Astbury and not allow them to play in tandem in the air. For me Hogan goes to Rance 1 - 1 in the goal square, Weeds takes Astbury .
  19. It’s been a tough week for some at Demonland here is an interesting article that might help a few .... https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/en.amerikanki.com/advantages-positive-thinking/amp-list/
  20. 4th new sponsor in a month - I will drink to that and yes it will be Johnny Walker. Geez we are becoming multi-cultural Swiss, Scottish, Japanese & Australian. Go Dees
  21. Yes, I would listen far more to the Ethan type trolls - "haters". They are just upset they have no idea what is happening apart from what they read in the newspapers - such is life. Your choice.
  22. Not a matter of going wrong - more a matter of you can only spend your money once. Tigers over the last 10 years have worked hard to build memberships, crowds and "sponsors" - all trivial stuff I know compared to fixtures, clash jumpers, songs and "hating" the AFL but we have to leave the important stuff to our MFC footy keyboard / armchair experts on Demonland. We can beat them - you must break down their defensive structures both in the air and on the ground. Im not going to say much more - but we can beat them, we will have a red hot crack.
  23. Its more than just fitness - its a total player health & welfare plan, almost every aspect of the players life is covered. They (the Tigers) spent an absolute fortune in this area even down to buying gaming consoles - so in their down time the players can amuse themselves. Seriously everything was covered. Its all built on the theory of body, mind & soul - based on 100% honest between club, coaches and player - during and extending to after their playing days. But some people will tell you it was all luck why the won the flag last year - hahaha - or Neil Balme - hahaha
  24. A real missed opportunity - Should we not wait till after the game till we make a comment like that. I would of thought at this stage its - a potential missed opportunity. Its our home game this year so the only club we would be hurting by not turning up is our own - the MFC.
