Isaac Conway was very impressive as a midfielder against Casey today. Classy and mature body. At 23, maybe he’ll get a look in on a rookie list. Has the talent IMO.

Isaac Conway's sister starred for the Brisbane Lions women this season. He comes from the same junior club as the Wagner brothers.

He was well known as a high quality character at Sandgate going through losing his mother mid-season in his U17s.

  2. Mitch Clark was leading the Coleman is the sh***iest team to ever take the (any) park until he injured his foot.

He had depression issues following (probably stemming) that and as we've seen with Trenners, foot injuries are career killers.

Pretty glad we took a chance on Garlett.

Dogs will want our first round and probably more so really its whether people who would have pretty good info think he's worth that to us.

Thats four straight wins vs the Filth now.  The shoes on the other foot after they dominated us for years.

I took the family down for 2013.  My wife and youngest left at halftime. My oldest who was about 10yo is a masochist so we stayed to the death.

We got on a tram and were the only Melbourne supporters. I thought "this could get ugly" but any number of Pie supporters gave him a rub on the head and told him that it always turns around.  We were so pathetic that even Pies' supporters were sympathetic....

It would be a disgrace and those players should be ashamed of themselves for that game if that's honestly what they did?

On a side note Interesting that Scott Pendlebury said that Brad Green snub him at a school event, but I doesn't surprise me as he comes across as an up himself snob

  5. **NB First post so be gentle

My U12 side in Brisbane played Cooparoo in my first game as a youth coach last season.

They belted us and one kid in particular tore us up.  At the end of the game, we went and shook hands with the opposition coaches, exchanged a little small talk and walked away.

As we are heading back to the sheds, my assistant coach said "geez that bloke looked familiar", then it struck me that it was Shane Woewodin.

Yeah I lined up against a Brownlow medallist and professional football coach in my first game... fmd.

I said to my son, if nothing else out of the game, Taj Woewodin will be father/son in six years. I think they moved to Morningside this year.
