  1. Agree with McQueen, ripper ground to watch any sport at. Crows fans are feral, as are any clubs really. It craps all over the pain in the bum place to get to, Footy Park.
  2. It's an issue already, that Jack has brought on himself in the last year. He'll have to manage it carefully for the rest of his career I'd say, but I'm no doctor. The only thing we currently can't replace is his will to win, otherwise he's replaceable.
  3. I don't care for the article one bit. I've seen enough of them. Lost 4 of our last 6 and staring down the barrel of another missed finals campaign. It's just more fluff for people who get sucked in to the hype.
  4. Damn Norm Smith again SWYL?
  5. Or Hawkins who high tens everyone and smiles like he just won lotto after every single goal.
  6. Hope you feel better soon Jane, I must admit, this loss really drove the dagger in for me too. I'll be right tomorrow, we are still a chance, it's just the frustration of it that hurts the most. You wouldn't be a real Demon if you aren't hurt by Saturday night.
  7. Craig Nettelbeck Cup
  8. Only the very best win multiple BnF's, like Buddy Franklin. Plus only superstars like Wayne Carey win Brownlows too
  9. UFC and drugs
  10. I agree with you mate, my reply was to your post not the situation, ie; you having a pot shot. At the end of day, it's all about wins and losses, what happens if we win 1 of the next 5, that'd be 3 of the last 11 (currently 4 losses from last 6). All I care about is the end result, I actually had more faith in this team last year, having said that I think we can win the damn thing also. According to most on the forum last week they had the Cats pencilled in for a win, now we are meant to admire the nice loss. Not me. As I've said for a while, our kids are young and our older players are cooked, that's why I think we need to bring in the next lot of experienced leaders from successful clubs to replace them.
  11. I agree with you mate, Oscar was let down by poor coaching and leadership. With only one key forward he should've been two teamed like Hogan is every week or someone (Lewis) should have dropped into the hole, how it was left alone all night is a joke tbh.

    Mr Jones

Hi DD, always appreciate your thoughts. A strapped knee doesnt stop a guy from leading, his chase and pressure on Menzel was pathetic. People get caught up with possessions with Jones and Lewis, most of them are cheapies. I'd argue that Gawn is a better leader than all of them, he seems to consistently stand up and wear his heart on his sleeve, I'd have him as captain next year with Lever VC after Vineys stubbornness. Anyway I'm going to refrain from this thread until next week lol, still [censored] off.
  13. Strangely enough, the kids are fine, it’s the older brigade who are mentally weak.
  14. Quite happy with my life thanks, just don't accept or inhale bull [censored]. Wins and losses are all that matters, rest is noise.

    Mr Jones

Yet watch his final 2 minutes v Cats and it confirms my theory, poor leader. Nobody on this forum is knocking his dedication, loyalty or commitment to the club, some of you really need to get this through your heads. His leadership on field is poor, goes missing when needed. Him and Lewis were in our forward half from memory when the kick went to the Irishman.
  16. Oscar was fine with Lever and Hibberd in, he had a great start to the year. It’s understandable he’s under the pump now, our midfield need to defend better also
  17. The article itself is fugazi, it means jack [censored]. Wins and losses are the only thing that means anything, always has and always will. Our club is mentally fragile and everyone knows it. I agree with PJ. Oh and Nathan jones inspiring, biggest joke of the day!!! Good for a laugh though. It reminds me of an article in the Bailey era, and we know how that turned out.
  18. Who cares, honorable losses are nice but they have a use by date. 2016 had a chance at finals and blew it, failed pathetically last year, heat is already on again. I don’t care for nice stats and they mean jack crap if a side is mentally weak and can’t handle pressure. As Peter Jackson said himself, if we miss finals it’s a failure this year.
  19. Thanks mate, yeah he was the only one I could think of too, in that case they’d have to let Gaff go. I have heard they’ve offered him 4 x $800,000 but not a reliable source as of yet
  20. They (WCE)
  21. A big concern is Max getting burnt out, he has an enormous workload and busts his gut. I think he just had an off night though, he has credits and plenty of them, one bad game and he'll bounce back
  22. OK I will refrain from using my sense of humour going forward.
  23. Who do they have retiring this year that would be on a decent amount?
  24. Did I also hear Sloane is in doubt with his foot again?
